The 5 Unstoppable NEUTRAL Cards Every Duelist MUST Have 🔥 [Eng/Esp]

in #hive-133233 months ago

Greetings, human duelists! How’s it going?

Today, I want to talk about certain cards whose unique feature is that they don’t belong to any specific @splinterlands class, but sometimes become essential in your decks or even better, in your strategy to achieve victory.

Yes, my dear friend, I’m talking about Neutral cards. At the time of writing, there are about 45 Neutral cards ranging from common to legendary.

In this article, I’m going to show you the ones that, in my opinion and backed by data, are the special cards that significantly strengthen our decks, regardless of which class you play. So, without further ado, let me introduce my picks:

🔹Moxian Rebel
This card is one of the best choices when you have low mana, thanks to its weapon training ability. If you’re not familiar with this ability, here’s a post where I explain everything about it. But the best part? Since it’s Neutral, the combinations you can create are incredible, and it’s useful from level 1, no matter what.

🔹Clockwork Aide
This is a good option when you want to control the game a bit. Even though it’s decent at level 1, I think it truly shines at level 4. And yes, it can be paired with weapon training, so definitely keep an eye on this one.

🔹Venari Marksrat
The buffs this little rodent can provide are amazing! This card is one of the few that’s perfect even at level 1. Plus, the combinations you can pull off with it are many, making your splinters incredibly powerful. Personally, I like to pair it with cards that have (double strike) like the one I’ll mention next.

🔹The Cobra
Ah, the old reliable. I’ve been using this card for as long as I can remember, and it’s great starting from level 1. But if you can, take it to level 4, where it gains the Poison ability and then, the magic happens.

🔹Drybone Raider
Don’t be fooled by its high mana cost, because this card is a killing machine! It has two types of attacks, and on top of that, it can attack twice for a total of four attacks per turn of course, if the battle rules allow it or if it’s in the first position. It’s super powerful at level 3, but getting it to that level might be a bit pricey.

In general, having good Neutral cards will help you a lot in your journey as a duelist in this game. That’s why you should consider getting some and leveling them up properly. I didn’t include Elanor in this post because, in my opinion, that card is totally broken, and it’s obvious you should have it.

I hope this post helps you improve in the game and climb the ranks! As always, thank you for sticking with me till the end, and remember: learn something new, get some exercise, and find YOUR HAPPINESS.

Blessings, and see you in the game!

I guess the chicken is not on there because it's modern? You better clarify that, or the chicken might be come migthy furious! And we all know what a furious chicken is capable of... 🤣

I agree with all but one card - the clockwork is very nice, but I'd put the Xenith Monk at lvl 4 in there. His healing is just overly useful in many cases, and it has the same mana cost. But that's a totally different use case as well. Now that I think about it, there are actually a few neutrals that I use way more often then the clockwork :-D It's still a great card though, and definitely shines in a few rulesets (Equal Opportunity comes to mind, the same-health one, no-magic...).

Nice post, thank you!

The chicken God is not there because it is a card out of category, it is like an Egyptian God. No lies it is in the wild and that is the reason. You are right about the monk. Thanks for commenting, a follow and a share is appreciated bro.
