Unprotected
As a sage once said - "If one goes unprotected a child may born" - Lao Tzu. (Just kidding...)
Rule Set: Even Stevens + Noxious Fumes + Unprotected
Mana cap: 32
Showdown: Lily Shieldpaw -> Xenith Monk -> Runi -> Vruz -> Chaos Dragon
Vs
Conqueror Jacek -> Magnor -> Venator Kinjo -> Molten Ash Golem -> Scavo Chesmist -> Dr. Blight -> Xenith Archer
My strategy:
Well, since we had a no shield battle (unprotected) I thought Magnor would be great tank to do high damage and trample, since it has high hp also (15), even more damage if gets enraged, I thought my adversary could go with Yodin and use blast so I used Venator Kinjo on 2nd spot with reflection shield, slow, amplify (in case of ranged attacks on Magnor, also because of his taunt), and Immune, that looked very good since it was also a Noxious fumes battle... On 3rd spot was Molten Ash Golem, that is very underrated here, it has high hp, gives weaken (-1hp), also good on Noxious Fumes, and also demoralize, which nerfed attack on 3 adversary cards, making a big difference... Scavo Chemist on 4th spot was giving cleanse to Magnor and Slowing all adversary team, good support for 2 mana... 5th spot was none less than DR.BLIGHT, the undisputed, fucking everyone, and only after him the 2 mana Xenith Archer, overshadowed.
1st Round: Magnor gave a 6 hit on Xenith Monk and after that took 1 hit from Vruz activating enraged. Molten Ash Golem gave a 3 hit attack on Chaos Dragon and Xenith Archer missed a shot. DR. BLIGHT hit Vruz and caused the first death, however activating the Martyr effect. Chaos Dragon got buffed and hitted Xenith Archer, killing it and blasting the undisputed. Runi also gave a 5 attack at Magnor. End of round followed by the poison effect and Lily triage on Chaos Dragon
Obs tip: here at the beginning can be noticed I had way higher speed, with +2 from Jacek summoner and 2 slows by monsters. Speed in one of the main advantages in this game, making possible to even have one round more than adversary in many cases or taking cards out first...
On 2nd round beginning I got lucky when enraged Magnor defeated Xenith Monk with a 9 attack and trampled on Runi, that Resurrected. Molten Ash gave another hit at Chaos Dragon. Runi was finished again by you know who, stacking Scavengers and surviving each poison round. Chaos Dragon went to 1st spot as last monster and gave Magnor a 5 magic attack damage, Venator not taking the blast.
Final Round: It was a fast battle and most of my team survived the poison. Magnor still left with 5 hp gave a final 9 attack at Chaos Dragon and ended the fight.
It was a fun fight, I think maybe my adversary wasted too much mana on Chaos Dragon for these set of rules and mana cap, since it had lost its shield due to Unprotected, but maybe he was expecting that it could finish me fast, so idk... Others cards seens better aligned
