Dragon Attribute is one of the archetypes in the Splinterlands history which consists of monsters with high attack damage and incredible buffs and debuffs that has been used in battles and consistently giving support to other attributes in the game.
This week, the Splinterlands team with their Share Your Battle Challenge featured the use of Dragons in battles to the players and I would like to share my battle experience with you today in the Gold League.

MY POSITIONING STRATEGY
To start, I choose Brighton Bloom as the summoner because its gives the ability to its monster summons to have the fly ability and I choose the fire attribute ability to choose other monsters that will help in my strategy.
For the first position which is the tank, I choose Gloridax Soldier. On the 6th level, it has a stats of 3 speed, 3 armor, 7 health, and 3 melee damage. With its Shield ability, it reduces the melee damage that it receives.
Second in the position is the Manticore. Another great melee damager thanks to its reach ability. It has a stats of 3 speed, 3 melee damage, and 8 health points which makes it a good reserve tank.
Third position is for the fire attribute monster Flame Monkey. In the 8th level, it has a stats of 4 speed, 1 melee damage, and 4 health. I choose this monster for its repair ability to repair the armor of the Gloridax Soldier. It also serves a shield for my range damagers so that they will not die immediately once the tank and reserve tank dies.
Fourth position is for the Dragonling Bowman. A range damager from the dragon attribute. In the 6th level, it has a stats of 3 speed, 2 range damage, and 5 health. With its Sneak Ability, it attacks the last position monster from the enemy lineup. The pierce ability helps with the armor and health reduction of the enemy monsters.
Fifth position is for the Fire Spitter. Another range damager for my lineup. In the 5th level, it has a stats of 3 speed, 3 range damage, and 7 health. A good backline defense for my lineup.
Last in the position is the neutral attribute monster Furious Chicken. In the 6th level it has a stats of 1 speed, 1 melee damage, and 1 health. It serves as a backline sacrificial defense for the Fire Spitter. It is also a good counter for the enemy monster with the Sneak Ability.
My strategy worked efficiently. Choosing Brighton Bloom as the summoner is a good choice because all my monsters have the Fly ability which makes the damage from the earthquake inexistent. With the Blast Ability given by the ruleset, all the back monsters from the enemy lineup have died immediately together with help of the melee damage from the earthquake. Because the enemy focused more on choosing Grum Flameblade as the tank, his backline monsters are weak in health and damage leading for the battle to end in the third round with all of my monsters still standing in the end.
Dragon Attribute monsters are one of the cards that I always rent when I'm doing my battles. What I like about it is the consistency and individually given by the monsters that helps the other attribute monsters in battles. Using dragon attribute monsters increases the odds in my chance for the win specially when the ruleset is only choosing dragon attribute monsters in battle. Because some monsters in the dragon attribute have high mana to summon, it is best to use in a high mana battle but all depends in your strategy of what monsters to choose and in which position to be place.
