Intro
Hey everyone, welcome to another week of share youre batte theme. I really hope your weeks are starting out exciting with some great end of season rewards including packs now and also with the new season starting. Hopefully you are getting more wins than losses. I sure could use some more wins, it hurts playing against teams full of alpha/beta cards. I sure know I am still recovering from some of those matches.
Dragons!
This weeks theme is Dragons! I love the dragon splinter, even though its not my best, and recently added Brighton Bloom and Delwyn Dragonscale to my collection of Dragon summoners after seeing a listing for each on the market that were too hard to not purchase. So far I've been playing more with Brighton as my magic game is a little weak and I sure seem to get a lot the of Earthquake ruleset.
Beyond just summoners the Dragon splinter is exceptionally powerful having many more Legendary cards than Epic or Rare, with 5 Legendary entries coming from the Chaos Legion expansion! Combine Dragons with some neutral monsters and these teams can be exceptionaly devestating to their oponents, showing them no mercy. However pair dragons with the wrong team and you will find yourself begging for that same mercy.
Battles
Today I had two very different battles both involving Brighton Bloom. Both matches involved the Earthquake rule set. One ended in total domination thanks to the support of a Goblin Psychic with Affliction and the snipe ability of Child of the Forrest, and the other coming down to my enemy losing his monsters from earthquake.

Battle Summary
This battle was a perfect example of team harmony. My Goblin Psychic landed Affliction on his first attack helping seal the fate of my oponents team with its dual healers. Here things could of easily been different had my Goblin Psychic been lower level and not had affliction, with two heals my team would of been overwhelmed. In picking this team I had some trouble, the choices for the match left me without being able to see any relevant teams my opponent had played in his last 5 matches so I was guessing. I chose Djin Chawla for his health and thorns, I picked the Goblin theif for sneak and his 3 damage hoping he would help take out his targets fast. The Mycelic Morphoid was to use 1 mana up since I was avoiding Neutral monsters to finish my daily or I would of used a level 5 Chaos Agent. Next I chose the Goblin Psychic for his heals but more importantly his Affliction knowing how much this helps shut down so many teams. My next choice was the Child of the Forrest for his snipe and last I didn't have anything else with snipe so I picked the Earth Elemental for his ability to heal himself.

Battle Summary
Oof this was a bad team. Here I tried to play the Desert Dragon as well as Chaos Dragon in the same team. Having not used the Desert Dragon I thought using it with its piercing ability would be great after having had it used on me so many times, however it was not the tank to use. The Sunkari Harvester I chose for his reach I was hoping would help me focus down the tank a little faster. While I chose the Stich Leech for its sneak hoping to take down any heals at the end of the team, the Crystalsmith was chosen for her healing, the Pelcaor Arbelest for its double attack and the Chaos Dragon I stupidly chose because I like it a lot (not a good reason to play a card most of the time). If you watch the battle you can see that the combination of my Chaos Dragons blast and the earthquake are the only reasons I didn't lose this match.
Conclusion
Overall two very different battles with the same dragon Summoner. One battle with complte domination, the other just suqeezing a win out thanks to the rule set and luck. As you can see while hugely powerfull, just playing Dragon cards is not enough to win. I hope you all enjoyed and have some epic Dragon battles yourselves.
