Hello everyone. In today's post I will discuss the ways to use one of splinterlands in game currencies. Glint. Glint can be earned in battles. In the shop you can use Glint to purchase soulbound cards, energy, merits, Legendary and Alchemy potions, or loot chests. In the past I was saving Glint to buy legendary draws or ultimate loot chests. Some of the cards I got from them were quite decent:
In the ultimate loot chest I also got a beta pack one time. But all in all I am disappointed by what I get from loot chests or rarity draws. Most of the time I get soulbound cards and I don't like them because if you want to sell them you first have to pay to unbound them. Also in my experience unbounding cards costs a lot and after that I got barely any profits left by selling a card or even had to sell them at a loss. Like I had golden Thunderhoof Nomad. I think that I paid around 30 USD to unbound it and was not able to get nearly that much back by selling it. So I changed my strategy. No I no longer buy either soulbound cards or loot chests. Instead I buy Legendary and Alchemy potions(and sometimes energy) and use those potions when I buy chaos legion packs or rebellion packs. Unlike unboudng cards packs are relatively cheap and if I will succeed getting gold fold legendary or at lest golden epic cards I will be able to sell them for nice profit. So far this strategy has not worked for me because the best cards I got recently were just normal legendaries. But I still think that for me buying potions and using them on packs makes more sense than buying loot chests or soulbound cards rarity draws. Perhaps drawing golden soulbound cards would give me a more decent profit than I get from selling normal unbound cards but for me gold soulbound cards costs too much Glint. And I only imagine that unbounding them would costs much more as well. Also I don't use Glint to buy merits because I feel like I am getting enough merits from brawls.
