Hello there my Splinterlands Fam.
How are you today.? I hope you all are doing great.
With retiring the Share Your Battle weekly challenge, the Battle Mage Secrets weekly challenge is live. I must say, the new challenge is much more competitive and challenging because it's not about a card but about a specific ruleset. And you have to fight more battles to pick one to share. Because not every time you will get the desired ruleset. Then again, it's not sure that you'll win that battle.
It's tough but it's fun writing though. I surely will miss the old Share Your Battle challenge.
This is the 12th week of this challenge and this week's Battle Mage Secrets challenge is about the HEAVY HITTER ruleset.
Just like the previous challenges, in this blog, I'll discuss a few things about the Heavy Hitter ruleset and share the best battle I won playing in this ruleset.
So, read on...
A Few Words About The Heavy Hitter Ruleset
In the 'heavy hitter' ruleset, all monsters have the 'knock out' ability.
Using 'stun' monsters is the only advantage in this ruleset. Because if your monster is able to stun the enemy monster/s, they will receive double damage from your monsters.
Using more than one 'stun' ability monster is advisable because 'stun' has a 50% chance of landing.
I don't have any special strategy for this ruleset. I just use my favorite team to go with.
THE BATTLE
RULESET
Mana Cap: 49
Ruleset:
Heavy Hitters: All Monsters have the Knock Out ability.
Unprotected: Monsters do not have any armor and do not get armor from Abilities or Summoner Buffs.
Active Splinters: Fire, Earth, Life, Death.
My Strategy and Team Setup
SUMMONER
Yodin Zaku
As no monster has armor protection, I used Yodin Zaku to deal extra damage using the 'blast' ability buff provided by him.
Team Setup
It was a high mana cap battle and I have plenty of space to choose some high-speed, high-damage cards.
I used Gelatinous Cube as a tank because of its 'scavenger' ability. Next, there's the Ferexion Hero. I used his 'weapon training' ability to provide a +2 melee attack to the Gelatinous Cube. Also, due to its 'reach' ability, Ferexion Hero can attack from the second position.
In the third position, I used the Molten Ash Golem. It has the 'close range' ability and thus can attack from the first position. Having 9 HP, it will act as a second tank.
Lava Launcher is in the fourth position. It has good attack points and with the 'close range' ability it can attack from the first position.
I placed the Tenyii Striker in the fifth position. With its 'sneak' ability, it'll destroy the enemy team from the backside.
Countess Sinash is in the last position. A high mana cost card, having some good abilities. It also has good speed and attack points.
Now, that my team is ready, let's charge into the battle.

Analysis Of The Key Factors Of The Battle
Using the Yodin Zaku as the summoner turned out the most crucial factor for winning this battle. As no monster had any armor, thanks to the 'unprotected' ruleset, the enemy monsters are exposed to blast damage.
All my monsters did an excellent job, especially, the Lava Launcher and Countess Sinash destroyed the enemy monsters like a piece of cake.
Overall, it was a good strategy that brings me the winning.
And that's all for today, guys.
