Hello there my Splinterlands Fam.
How are you today.? I hope you all are doing great.
With retiring the Share Your Battle weekly challenge, the Battle Mage Secrets weekly challenge is live. I must admit that the new challenge is much more competitive and challenging because it's not about a card but about a specific ruleset. You have to fight more battles to pick the right one to share. Because not every time you will get the desired ruleset. Then again, it's not sure you'll win that battle even if you get the desired ruleset.
It's tough but it's fun battling though. I surely will miss the old Share Your Battle challenge.
This is the 16th week of this challenge and this week's Battle Mage Secrets challenge is about the LOST LEGENDARIES ruleset.
Just like the previous challenges, in this blog, I'll discuss a few things about the Lost Legendaries ruleset and share the best battle I won playing in this ruleset.
So, read on...
A Few Words About The Lost Legendaries Ruleset
In the 'lost legendaries' ruleset, legendary monsters may not be used in battles. Though you are free to use any legendary summoner.
There are no special tricks for this ruleset. Just use your usual working setup. Though you have to tweak your strategy a bit if it involves any legendary monster/s.
My usual strategy in this ruleset is using my 'sneak' team, as most of them are common monsters. If it's a high-man-cap battle, I prefer to use Obsidian and the magic attack team.
My preferred splinter/s in this ruleset is Life/Fire/Death as these splinters have the most 'sneak' monsters.
THE BATTLE
RULESET
Mana Cap: 12
Ruleset:
Lost Legendaries: Legendary monsters may not be used in battles.
Aimless: All monsters have the scattershot ability.
Active Splinters: Fire, Water, Earth, Death.
My Strategy and Team Setup
SUMMONER
Zintar Mortalis
In low mana cap battles, opponents tend to use melee attack cards. That's why I prefer to use Zinter Mortalis in low mana cap battles.
Zintar Mortalis debuffs the enemy team with a -1 melee attack.
Team Setup
Well, it was a low-mana-cap battle and I had to choose my monsters carefully.
I already said why I prefer Zintar Mortalis in low-mana-cap battles and Haunted Spirit is the best tank with this setup. It only costs 5 mana and has good HP, speed, and attack. Additionally, 'heal' ability make this card absolutely unbeatable as a tank in low-mana-cap battles.
Next, there is Venari Bonesmith in the second position. It only costs 4 mana and possesses two best abilities, 'life leech' and 'poison', making this card the deadliest.
Furious Chicken, a filler 0 mana cost card is placed in the last position to safeguard 'sneak' attack/s, if any.
Now, that my team is ready, let's charge into the battle.

Analysis Of The Key Factors Of The Battle
In low-mana-cap battles, choosing the right monsters is crucial for winning. Luckily, I've chosen the right summoner + monsters combo.
First, choosing the summoner Zintar Mortalis was the best idea as I guessed it right that my enemy will choose a melee attack team.
And the Haunted Spirit as the tank did an amazing job. Not only he healed himself after each attack but also blows good melee attacks to the enemy tank.
Still, winning was not possible without the help of Venari Bonesmith. She drops the 'poison' and thus decreases the HP of the enemy monster. Her poison deals the last blow to the enemy monster that brings me the winning.
