The new abilities increased the fun and excitement in Splinterlands. It gets harder to win against clever and well-prepared rivals. However, now it is much better for those who want to enjoy Play2Earn games.
Actually, most of the Play2Earn games disappear because of the lack of fun factor. The strong side of Splinterlands is the intelligent and open-minded developer team with a strong community.
Among new abilities, Weapons Training is one of my favorites.
If you do not know about it, you should check the cards you see above. The ability equips the cards without attack with half of the power of the monster that has Weapons Training.
Many veteran players use Furious Chicken strategically. The new integration of Weapons Training will make your Furious Chicken initiate attacks before it gets its 1 melee attack skill.
These are some of the monsters without attack. Although most of them have high HP or Armour, they never contribute to the team in terms of damage. It is time to change the destiny 😉
I think the most effective way of using Weapons Training is putting the card in the middle of 2 cards without attack.

You can combine the strong sides of several monsters without attack if you use Weapons Training ability in the middle. No rival can think about the possibility of this ability and take precautions to prevent it.
I still explore the potential of this ability. I believe it is still undervalued and when it is realized, everyone will be in search of it 🙃
I'm going to try it with Kulu MasterMind. The Pelecor monsters may match perfectly with my aim. Who knows, maybe it is not possible to counter this skill while most of the skill can be countered easily.
