Dia dhuit 👋 fellow Summoners,
This weeks "Hello" is in Irish Language, checking on Wikipedia was surprised😮 to learn that is only used by 170,000 people daily and overall around 1.7 Million people only. Dia dhuit literal translation also means "God to you" (addressing one person) but is phrase used to say hello in general.
Financials
Hive is still trading around $0.4~0.5 and feels like there is lot of room to recover but going to take a while looking at overall market conditions. Continuing to track my finances in the game, the below data is as per today's (21st May) Snapshot
Expenses
Updates since last week
- Cards : In this week did not buy as much as I have been buying in last weeks, spent around $33 on cheap CP cards
- DEC : increased around 30 Hive worth of DEC mainly converted from SPS and some through card sales, some of which was sold on market and some added to DEC:SPS Liquidity pool
- Chaos : Bought 20 packs in market/game mostly for trades
- Credits : Added $1 (as always running out of DEC for renting may be will use credit
- No Changes in Spellbook, Voucher, SPS and XCHAOS
Spend $115.99 on the game last week taking my total Splinterlands expenses to $1019.86😲😲😲
Revenues
Updates in this week
Cards : sales generated revenue of $4.17 in last week, have listed more cards for sales on the market now, hopefully they will start picking up in next weeks
DEC : Sold around 11 hive worth on market
SPS : Sold/Converted worth 8.04 Hive worth to DEC to add to DEC:SPS Liquidity pool
Chaos : Sale revenue of $83 in last week
Voucher : Voucher is gaining in value due to need for Validator nodes sold little bit of what little I had liquid for around 0.7 hive
No Changes in Spellbook and XCHAOS
$95.87 generated in last week which brings my total revenue from game related to $603.87 (which considering the current hive price will improve only)
Assets
Even though Hive to USD value has decreased in recent weeks, value of DEC to Hive or SPS to Hive has been increasing which reflects in the change in asset value too. Assets held in game or in wallet as of 5/21
- Cards : +$64.18 seems like some cards are gaining their value back which was dropped in last few weeks
- DEC : +30 hive due to increase in liquidity pool and increase in price of DEC
- SPS : +21 hive mainly due to increase in price of SPS
- Credits : Held in game
- Chaos : None
- XChaos : Still have couple in wallets
- Voucher : +1 hive due to price increase
Total Current Assets value is $518.73 (+87.98) including the fluctuation in all the prices
Gains
Gain is back in $100s range after falling below $40 in last week due to all the price fluctuations and hopefully it will be in upward trend for next few weeks, percentage wise it stands at 10% of now more that $1K expenses on the game
Liquidity Pools
- DEC:SPS : This is the pool which I am concentrating on and adding to actively, +566 shares in last week and takes my position from 0.001% to 0.002% 😁 in the pool
- SWAP.HIVE:DEC : Shares increased by +60 due to daily 1% bonus received (No plans to add further to this pool)
- PKM:SPS : Whatever daily rewards from LP or card purchases I receive are added to this pool almost daily, shares have increased by +4.3
- VOUCHER:SPS : No Change, this one is just generating some fees
- SPS Airdrop points due to liquidity pool currently at 75192(+678) which nets me around 6.7 SPS in daily drops

Game Progress
Last season ended with 🥈Silver 3 League and well the end of season (#EOS) rewards were so so, best was Epic card Djinn Renova and 125+ DECs, a Rare card Venari Wavesmith and the couple of common cards and a potion
Started the Season with 🥉Bronze II, haven't played much but am grinding to get to 🥈Silver 3 League, have been trying out some of the tournaments recently so have spent more time there.
Gladius Pack Opening
Not much luck opening a Gladius pack today, pulled a Rare Liza Fox and 4 Commons Helmet Kharafax, Alva the Crusher, Bertrol Gobson and Chimney Wallstop
🍕PIZZA 3 Hand-Tossed Guild
Our #HivePizza 3 Guild took 🥈2nd Place in brawl this time and won 18 crowns. I participated in my usual Novice Chaos legion only Fray and had 9 battles out of which I won 6👍 and lost 3👎 and got 831 merits making enough to be buy the Gladius pack which I opened above

Water and 
Dragon splinters active, so it was going to be Water monsters for sure, but since it was high mana cap of 48 went with Quix the devious as summoner and spread out attacks between Melee, Magic and Range. Opponent went with Kelya Frendul but frankly I am bit confused with selection of their lineup guess they did not rent Epic or Legendary cards.

This one had Explosive Weaponary ruleset for which I recently tend to use Magic attack teams as with that adjacent damage also happens on health of the monster even if monster has armor which is pretty useful, since 
Earth splinter was available it became obvious choice and to compensate for Earthquake ruleset added Queen Mycella in between because +2 armor provided by her helps each monster survive at least one hit from Earthquake damage at end of each round. Well lineup worked as expected and easy win

This one had high mana cap of 50 so was contemplating between 
Fire or Dragon splinters and end up going with Tarsa and well opponent went with Quix the Devious and having Carnage Titan and Chaos Dragon in their lineup turned the battle in their direction.

Rise of the Commons ruleset meaning basically you can use only Starter cards set and for me with that best work is Earth splinter for high mana cap battles like this one. Went with pretty much standard lineup and used Katrelba Gobson for first time and frankly she came in pretty handy as a back line Melee attacker.

Equalizer & Target practice rulesets with low mana cap of 17, thought 
Life splinter will be best but frankly I need more practice with Life splinter to be able to use it in best way, anyways again messed up with selection and lineup and well opponent chose better and deserved the win.

For most of the battles this time I had limited active splinters, since this one had decent mana cap of 38 went with Quix the Devious as some of the Dragon monsters have good armor and health to survive the Earthquake damage and Flying ability which ignores the Earthquake damage, opponent chose 
Thaddius Brood and well it was easy win for me.

Again only Life Splinter active and due to Noxius fumes, me and opponent both lost all our monsters which would have result in a draw in normal ranked battle but in this case since it was hosted in opponents arena, they won the battle😖 (first time this Arena tactics came in to play and unfortunately not in my favor) .
