This August is exactly one year that I am active in Splinterlands. Starting from buying a Spellbook, being confused about how to play and the existing rules, not understanding at all about monsters, summoners, life, mana, speed, and many other terms that are frustrating for beginners like me.
Get To Know Splinterlands
When I first got to know Splinterlands, when it was still using the name SteemMonsters, many of my Steemit friends shared their experiences playing this game, but I wasn't interested at that time.
Until then, as we all know, Hive emerged because of historical events according to the time, this game also appeared with new branding, Splinterlands (CMIIW).
Then I read a post @cicisaja about the SPS Airdrop for a year and other interesting things about Splinterlands.
It took me a while to make a decision to buy a spellbook and jump into this game, after a while, I started to get addicted.
Until I rarely make posts like I usually do.
Joining The Community
I have to admit, @cicisaja had a big role in my involvement in Splinterlands, her initiative was also to create an Indonesian Splinterlands community which I had been active for a while, although now it is rarely active for one reason or another.
Joining the community helped me a lot in learning about the Splinterlands, the friends there were very informative and didn't hesitate to share knowledge, some even delegated power.
Power Delegation
As a beginner by relying on the starter deck, I have zero power, again @cicisaja delegated me 1000 power, and I lasted quite a long time in Bronze.
When you can reach one level higher than usual, you will feel great, those are the moments when I first played in Silver, then Gold, and lastly the highest league I managed to achieve was Diamonds, maybe one day I can reach Champions, although it's getting harder and harder to win the battle day by day.
Right now, the total power I have is enough to last in Silver III, usually, I spend a lot of DEC on renting cards, but it all depends on the rating I reach.
Final Words
During this year, many things have happened, many updates have been carried out by the Splinterlands team itself, the SPS Airdrops have also ended, and the battle format has also been divided into two, Modern and Wild.
I myself have joined a Guild, although I haven't had the chance to join the Brawls yet, I don't have the Gladius pack yet, because actually there's still a lot of Splinterlands that I haven't touched and felt. Maybe one day I can feel it.
Special Thanks
To @cicisaja, thank you for all the knowledge, advice, guidance, and delegation of power, this Splinterlands trip would not have happened if not for @cicisaja.
Thank you also to all my friends at SPL-Indonesia, it is impossible for me to mention one by one, you are there to help, guide, and make the spirit rekindle to battle in the Splinterlands.
