Hi guys! Welcome to my entry for this week's Splinterlands fan art Challenge!
My entry for this week is none other than the favorite summoner of many - Lorna Shine.
I remember back when she could still be used in Modern Rank Battle, I always rented her because aside from her 3 mana cost, I really liked the buff she gave to the monsters she summoned - the Divine Shield.
So let's get into how I drew my Lorana Shine Fan Art.
Lorna Shine has a big sword and I was thinking of what pose would be good for her, if standing, it would be similar to her lore, and if in a fighting pose, her sword would be too big and I might struggle with the pose.
So the pose I thought of was kneeling on one knee to still make her look cool.
I started by sketching how I wanted the pose to be.
Once I liked the pose, I slowly started drawing her clothes.
After I finished the rough sketch, I darkened it.
Once I finished the sketch, I started adding base colors, but I changed my style this time, in the end, I'll also remove the black outline I made, my plan is for the outline to come from the layers of colors and not a separate outline.
After I completed the base colors, I started shading, it's a bit difficult to shade to bring out the outline without using black.
Lastly, I added sparkle and star for effect
