Beyond the Game, the tokenomics, nfts & crypto in general, @splinterlands, has borne friendships that otherwise would never have existed.
This is my second time to rendezvous with the Adelaide meetup at the Duke of Brunswick on the last Thursday of every month.
Once again, June proved to be perfect timing to drive 8 hours from Melbourne to make the meeting.
It was a great night that finished too soon. The doors to the pub were closing and it felt as though we barely scratched the depths of potential conversation.

We played around with some SoulKeep, spoke about the history of Steemit, Hive and Splinterlands. We discussed some of the game's personalities, direction and contemplations.
I know you might be wanting to know how many times that Flesh Golems were mentioned? I'm not one to kiss-and-tell but it was 3 times. (None were touched inappropriately @giotrix)
It was a very solid few hours that added a layer of colour to Life's portrait and made for a wonderful time.
