I shared ELVEN MYSTIC | Focus Chest reviewing ELVEN MYSTIC, from the comments I was motivated by @eustace-kidd to rent a level 4 ELVEN MYSTIC and boy it has been useful beyond my expectations in those magic battles when it is most likely my opponent will show up with a magic attack.

With the Void ability TORHILO THE FROZEN is my go-to Tank in the Water element, it is not a fast monster but not an easy Tank to get rid of easily. So TORHILO led my lineup in the first spot.
Like my opponent is NERISSA TRIDAWN in the second spot, you are not going to get any special ability from NERISSA but you are guaranteed a good amount of magic damage. NERISSA TRIDAWN turned out to be the only impactful magic attack monster for my opponent since I have weakened his entire lineup. It feels good when I do that successfully.
With Inspiration from HELLONDALE, SAND WORM got melee damage of 7 and had every reason to be brutal about, operating from the third spot as it wreaks havoc on the enemy backline.
RIVER HELLONDALE comes in with Resurrect and Inspire abilities, both of these abilities give my lineup extra strength, leaving HELLONDALE out of this battle will be an injustice to my lineup.
ELVEN MYSTIC happens to be the joker in the pack, it brings in the Silence ability that rendered my opponent's lineup powerless. It was an ability that worked well with BORTUS, like a -2 magic summoner. I rented ELVEN for only two days just to see how it fits into my lineups and I will surely be renting it for more days.
Providing protection for the lineup is VENARI WAVESMITH with +2 Armor on friendly monsters, it occupies the backline with magic attack comfortably.
It was a lineup set up to render my opponent useless and the aim was achieved with a gainful smile on my face.
