Hill Giants live in the Talus Bluffs on the outskirts of the volcano known as the Mountain of Ash. They are nomadic people that travel from hilltop to hilltop following herds of deer and cattle. Though they are intimidating, Hill Giants are typically more far more inquisitive of other cultures and seek to learn from them rather than attack. However, if they need to defend themselves, they attack by ripping boulders from the ground and are able to hurl them up to a mile. The people of Praetoria are glad to have them on their side against the Chaos Legion..

MY LINEUP
MY LINEUP
The opponent used fire and water splinters in his last battles. He like to used sneak attack monsters. I'll be using earth splinter with a mix of melee and magic attack monsters on my team. I don't want to use all the magic attack monsters on my team because there's a chance that the opponent will use a counter-magic strategy. I will put the zero mana monster or monster with the flying ability in order to withstand the sneak attack. |
Hill Giant lv 6 has 2 melee attacks, 2 speeds, and 7 health. He also has stun ability. I really like this monster because with only cost 3 mana and I already have a strong tank with great ability. I hope he can stun the opponent's monster as many times as he can.
Venari Scout lv 6 has 2 melee attacks, 3 speeds, and 4 health. He also has opportunity and dodge abilities. He could attack the opponent's monster with the lowest health and could evade from the melee and range attack. Same as the Hill Giant, he is really worthy for cost 3 mana.
I only left 2 mana after choosing Hill Giant, Venari Scout, Queen Mycelia & Regal Peryton. I chose Khmer Princess to get more magic attacks.
Queen Mycelia lv 3 has 1 magic attack, 1 speed, and 4 health. She has not a good stats but she has important and useful abilities. She has protect ability which could give +2 armors to her allies. The 2nd ability is Triage which could heal the back-lined allies that has taken the most damage. The last ability is Amplify which will increase magic reflect, return fire, & throns damage. The last ability is not useful for my team in battle because my monsters don't have magic reflect or thorns or return fire abilities. A combination of Protect and Triage ability will help my monsters last longer.
Regal Peryton Lv 5 has 2 magic attacks, 6 speeds, and 7 health. He could get the first attack chance based on the speed level. He also has a flying ability which could evade melee and ranged attacks from non-flying monsters. That's why I put him in the behind of Queen Mycelia in order to protect her from the sneak attack.
Fungus Fiend lv 3 has 1 melee attack, 2 speeds, and 3 health. I put him in the last position to withstand the sneak attack. |

DID MY STRATEGY WORK?
Yes, my strategy is working effectively as planned. My monsters did their job well and most of them survive the battle.
Shout-out to Hill Giant that managed to apply stun effect in all his attacks, Regal Peryton managed to evade from Silent Sha-vi's sneak attack, and Venari Scout succeeded kill the opponent's monsters quickly.
CONCLUSION
- Hill Giant is really good to be used in the low mana battle.
- He has great stats as a low mana tank in the earth splinter and adding the stun ability at lv 6 makes him more worthy and annoying. Yeah, got stunned in the battle is really annoying.
