VERA SALACIA

Vera Salacia keeps her home in the Salt Wastes of ΛZMΛRÉ, not far from the borders of Anenon. While most ΛZMΛRÉans regard the invading salt with fear and loathing, Vera draws her summoning powers from it. She even has special enchanted salts infused into the summoning garments she wears to the Mount Mox tournaments. When asked about her summoning secrets, Vera merely says that she found a special cave in the Frozen Hell. No one knows how she can withstand such extreme low temperatures.

When Vera summons a team to battle, she also summons a living ocean that spans the entire battleground beneath the feet of her monsters. The living salt water, taking the form of pillars and jutting spires, fights only for Vera Selacia and especially despises fliers. It leaps to incredible heights and pulls the enemy’s flying monsters out of the sky. The Dragons are fascinated by Vera’s methods; they are already attempting to recreate them for Gloridax ends.

MY PROCESS

Started the art with a physique sketch. Reading the lore Vera Salacia doesnt live on the ocean. I also plan on giving her an Aqua Staff but reading the lore she summon a living ocean thats why I changed my mind in the middle. I also recreate it with all the original details since I also told before that fan art that doesnt have the resemblances of the original should not consider a character art of the chosen subject.

next step would be the outline. the primary outline changes from time to time depends on how I visualize the outcome on my mind. I also created the background with a minimal water area since she live in a very low temprature wasteland.

Next step is the base color. I choose to apply the original color as much as posible, color with the highlight and shadow at this moment. By the way design on the ocean weapon got it from Demon Slayer since Im watching it while doing this art.

After making the base color i started to put the shadows and highlights. On this art I didnt have a hard time doing it I barely put a lot of details in this art. te important part is the shadow of her curves. I can only make character illustration that is sexy, that thing is the only thing that motivates me.
