Cryptic is the latest summoner available for combat in Splinterlands. It is part of the Rebellion collection, and can be acquired through conflicts, a system that may or may not guarantee you airdrops when you buy other cards from the same edition.
Along the same lines as the previous card, it also gives you the opportunity to combine 2 of the 6 main elements of the game. This one allows you to use both Water and Death, as well as providing several exceptional abilities.
One of these is the one that Cryptic is responsible for introducing to the game. Called Expose, the cards it contains have an 80% chance of removing various other abilities from their targets. They are: Forcefield, Lookout, Reflection Shield, Shield, Void, Void Armor or Immunity. This summoner allows you to give it to two of your monsters on the field, which will also acquire Poison, where it is likely to deal 2 points of damage directly to the opponent's life per round.

If you think it's not a good time for them, you can choose to give Retaliate and Enfeeble to your allies. Both are specific to Meele monsters, punishing them in various ways, either by returning an attack received, or by reducing it every time your card attacks.
As if that weren't enough, the entire opposing team will have their speed reduced by 1 point, as well as increasing the probability of missing an attack on your team by 15%.
I didn't buy it or manage to win it in Conflicts, but I did rent it at its maximum level for two days to test it out. I only played in Modern mode, and I'm going to share my experience with this card.
First of all, I want to say that it's not very efficient in battles with a mana limit of less than 20. It may seem obvious, but I wanted to make sure. Because it's a card with a high mana cost of 7 points, you're very limited and often can't put together an effective strategy.
However, against those extremely strong tankers, who don't have any kind of native attack, its use becomes very interesting. This is especially due to the ability it introduces, Expose. By combining it with a monster with Oppress, you can eliminate them extremely quickly.
In the example below, we can see the Void ability, which reduces magic attacks by 50%, being removed from the Baakjira and soon after it receives very high damage.

Here, I had a duel against the summoner Immortalis, the best of the Chaos Legion collection, in my opinion. As you can see, the Cryptic seems to be an excellent counter to it, with something similar happening to the one shown above, where the Void was removed.
In addition, the Poison increases the damage dealt, making the target suffer absurd damage.

Finally, here's an example of how Retaliate + Enfeeble + Blind + Flying are an excellent combination for battles against Meeles with Sneak or Opportunity.

The combination of Flying + Blind together increases the chance of evasion by 40%. If there is a difference in speed, this probability increases even more.
There is still a lot to explore using this card, as it has only been introduced to the game for a very short time. However, we can already get an idea of what it's capable of, we just have to keep playing with it and testing different combinations of cards to find the best ones, as well as the most interesting rules to use with it. I'm sure its full capacity hasn't been used yet, and soon that will be shown, not just by me, but by other players.

Se você acha que não é um bom momento para elas, pode optar por dar Retaliate e Enfeeble a seus aliados. Ambas são específicas para monstros do tipo Meele, punindo-os de diversas formas, seja devolvendo um ataque recebido, ou reduzindo-o cada vez que sua carta ataca.
Como se já não bastasse, toda a equipe adversária terá sua velocidade reduzida em 1 ponto, além de aumentar a probabilidade de errar um ataque sobre seu time em 15%.
Eu não adquiri e nem consegui ganhá-lo nos Conflicts, porém o aluguei em seu nível máximo por dois dias para testá-lo. Joguei apenas no modo Moderno, e vou compartilhar minha experiência com esta carta.
Primeiramente, quero dizer que ela não é muito eficiente em batalhas com limíte de mana inferior a 20. Pode parecer óbvio, mas eu queria ter certeza disso. Por ser uma carta com custo de mana elevado, de 7 pontos, você fica bastante limitado e por muitas vezes não consegue montar uma estratégia eficiente.
No entanto, contra aqueles tankers extremamente fortes, que não possuem nenhum tipo de ataque nativo, o seu uso se torna muito interessante. Isso se deve especialmente pela habilidade introduzida por ele, Expose. Combinando com algum monstro com Oppress, você consegue eliminá-los extremamente rápido.
No exemplo abaixo, podemos ver a habilidade Void, que reduz em 50% os ataques mágicos, sendo removida do Baakjira e logo após ele recebe um dano muito alto.

Aqui, tive um duelo contra o invocador Immortalis, o melhor da coleção Chaos Legion, em minha opinião. Como você pode ver, o Cryptic parece ser um excelente counter para ele, ocorrendo algo semelhante ao mostrado acima, onde o Void era removido.
Além disso, o Poison incrementa o dano causado, fazendo o alvo sofrer um dano absurdo.

Por fim, trago um exemplo mostrando como o Retaliate + Enfeeble + Blind + Flying, são uma excelente combinação para batalhas contra Meeles com Sneak ou Opportunity.

A combinação de Flying + Blind juntas, aumentam em 40% a chance de evasão. Se houver uma diferença de velocidade, essa probabilidade aumenta ainda mais.
Ainda há muito o que explorar utilizando essa carta, já que ela foi introduzida a pouquíssimo tempo dentro do jogo. Porém, já podemos ter uma noção do que ela é capaz, basta continuar jogando com ela e testando diferentes combinações de cartas e encontrar as melhores, além das regras mais interessantes para se usar com ela. Tenho certeza que toda a sua capacidade ainda não foi usada, e logo logo isso será mostrado, não só por mim, mas por outros jogadores.
