Here I am again to share some exciting and worthwhile stories about my Splinterlands game.
Today, I'll be sharing a battle where I used two units with Weapons Training.
Sometimes, when the opportunity arises, there are rulesets that allow you to use two Weapons Training units, and luckily, I encountered such a chance.
The ruleset for this battle included Super Sneak, Stampede, and Born Again.
Active elements: Fire, Water, and Earth.
Because of the Super Sneak ruleset, I was able to use two Weapons Training units. On top of that, the high mana cap in this battle allowed me to use my favorite water lineup.
Here's the lineup I used:
Baakjira
- This unit doesn’t have an attack, so I paired it with a unit that has Weapons Training. It has a useful Heal ability, allowing it to heal itself every round.
Daarg Deadblast
- This unit has Weapons Training and granted Baakjira Magic attack.
Merdaali Guardian
- This unit doesn’t have an attack, but it has Heal and Repair Armor abilities, supporting Baakjira throughout the battle.
Kulu Mastermind
- A melee attack unit with the Opportunity ability, capable of granting melee attack to adjacent non-attacking units. In this case, it gave Merdaali Guardian an attack, making Merdaali Guardian's attack 2.
Angelic Mandarin
- A backline healer with the Silence ability, reducing Magic damage received by Baakjira.
Wave Brood
- A ranged attack unit with Void ability, similar to Baakjira. It also has the Taunt ability, causing most attacks to focus on it.
This battle felt epic to me because my Baakjira was poisoned and afflicted by Doctor Blight's Affliction, preventing it from healing. Additionally, Legionnaire Alvar was incredibly hard to take down due to its thick shield and Void Armor ability. And since the ruleset included Born Again, when it was reborn, it regained its thick armor, which I had to deplete all over again.
