Overview
The new Weekly ruleset Challenge is an amazing twist that I am enjoying so far and I hope there will be twists like that in the future to keep this Challenge's fresh. 😁
This week the ruleset is the Silenced Summoners, which means that Summoners do not give any buffs/debuffs or grant/use abilities.
Tips:
- Use your lowest cost and highest level Summoner within this ruleset.

The mana cap for my next battle is 49, which is quite a lot and I always like to play in that condition, because I will be able to use any kind of strategy and monsters that I like.
The only limiting factor will be the Silenced Summoners ruleset, but that is not that big of a deal, because none of the Summoners on the battlefield will have any adjustments on the lineups, so it is easier just to use the highest level of Summoner you have. 😇

 | Quix the Devious was an obvious choice for me, because he is the only one out of the available Splinters who is able to use Dragon cards, which are the strongest monsters in the game. 😊 |
| The Djinn Chwala is my all time favorite Dragon monster from the beginning of my career. He has amazing melee attack damage with lots of health and nice amount of armor. His Enrage and Thorns ability will make him a formidable monster against any melee attack monster. He also has the True Strike ability, which I like it a lot, because this monster will be unable to miss an attack. 💪 |  |
 | The Carnage Titan is a very special off-tank, because he has the Reach ability, so he will be able to attack from the second position and on top of that he has the Double Strike ability as well, which means that he is able to attack twice in every round. On his level 3 he will receive the Shield ability, which is perfect against the melee and ranged attack monster like a proper tank. 😋 |
| The Goblin Psychic will be my main healer for this battle, because he will tbe the perfect monster to give more sustain to my tank and off-tank. He also has the Affliction ability as well, which means that he will be able to turn off the enemy monsters heal if it triggers. The trigger rate for the Affliction will be 50%, so you need a bit of luck there. 🤯 |  |
 | Thane Newsong cost only 5 mana, which is an easy fit into any team, but you need to support him with the Weapon Training ability to make himself more useful. On his own he can not attack, but he has a lot of health, the Inspire ability to increase the stats of his friendly melee attack monsters and the Strengthen ability to increase their health as well by one. 🤩 |
| Ava the Undaunted is a very special monster, because she has three ranged attack damage on her own, but she also has the special Weapon Training ability, which will allow her to give her own attack damage to the monsters next to her if they do not have any attack. She also has the Rust ability as well, so if she manages to hit her target she will confiscate all of their armor. 👍 |  |
 | The Lurking Puffer is a non-attacker, which means that he doesn't have any attack on its own, but he has an important ability, which is the Silence and that might be crucial in a match against magic attack monsters. The Silence means that he will reduce the magic damage of all the enemy monsters by one. Luckily Ava will give him +3 ranged attack, so he will be a nice damage dealer as well. 😇 |
The Battle
My opponent brought Quix the Devious as well, because the 49 mana allowed both of us to use some of the best Legendary monsters the game could offer. 😅
In the first round my Lurking Puffer took some serious hit, but luckily my team had enough damage to kill their Mycelic Infantry who had even the Shield ability.
In the second round I have lost my Puffer, because my opponent had the Uraeus who killed him using his Sneak attack. The extra damage provided by Ava was enough to reduce the health of their Carnage Titan to one and when he attacked my Djinn Chwala he killed himself against his Thorns ability.
The third round started dealing an enourmous damage to their Uraeus who suffered 8 damage from my Enraged Djinn Chwala and than my Titan managed to acquire a double kill tahnks to his Double Strike ability.
Only their Chaos Dragon left on their side, which was quite strong even on its own, but but my team had 26 damage at their disposal to get rid of him and by the end of the fourth round they killed him and got the victory for me. 😇

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
My strategy was to utilise some of the best monsters from the Dragon Splinter and use one of the new abilities (The Weapon Training) in order to take advantage of that to provide extra damage to my 'weaker' monsters, which turned out to be an excellent idea. 💪
