Social Media Challenge | Battle of the Fire twins! 😊

The mana cap was 24, which is not much to pick higher mana cost monsters and the Taking Sides ruleset will eliminate all the Neutral monsters as well, so only the Fire monsters will be available, which makes it even more harder to pick a good and also a slightly different lineup than my opponent. 😇

The Equal Opportunity will spice the battle up, because it will give the Opportunity ability to all the monsters on the battlefield, which means that they would always target the lowest Health monster. 😋

The Earthquake ruleset also makes things crazy, because unless you have monsters with the Flying ability the will take two damage at the end of every round. 🙃

For this battle the obvious choice would be to bring Tarsa who is just perfect for this battle, but I had to think differently than usual in order to take advantage over my opponent. That is why I picked the Eternan Brute, because he will decrease two Armor from my opponent monsters and I might be able to bring an additional Gladiator monsters if I will find another one. 😁

The Ferox Defender is an excellent tank for this game even though he is a bit pricey with his 8 mana cost, but in exchange he has quite a lot of Health and Armor, which will help him a lot to take as much as damage possible from the enemy team. He also has the Protect ability, which will give +2 Armor to all of his friendly monsters as long as he is alive. 💪

The Firecaller is a very special monster, because first of all she is a damage dealer and she is a very good one, but she also has the Martyr ability, which means if she dies she will increase all the stats of her adjacent monsters by one. 😎

Fina Voxom as I stated will be my key monster, because she is a Gladiator monster, which means that she will be able to increase her own stats by one whenever she kills a monster. This buff is permanent until the end of the battle and if she is lucky she will be able to win this battle for me single handedly. 😇

I almost ran out of the mana, so I had to use a cheap monster, which was the Radiated Scorcher who cost only one mana and he is able to attack from the back as well, but for only one Melee attack damage. 😆

The Scorch Fiend cost zero mana, so he will be the last monster I could use, but at least he also has one attack damage, which is nice from a zero mana cost monster. 😉

My opponent brought Tarsa who is always an excellent choice if you are planning to bring a Melee attack team, because she gives +1 Health and Melee attack to all of her friendly monsters. 😅

In the first round their Gobalano attacked first, because he had the Ambush ability, which means that he will get a free attack before the battle starts. He managed to remove the Armor from my Scorch Fiend, which opened the door for their Fina Voxom to kill it and activate her Bloodlust ability.

Luckily my Fina also managed to kill an enemy monster, so she increased her own stats as well. My Firecaller killed their Gobalano before he was able to attack and their Antoid killed my Radiated Scorcher just before the first round finished. 😋

The Earthquake damaged all the monsters on the battlefield for two damage, because none of them were able to Fly.

In the second round their Fina killed my Firecaller easily and she is increased her stats again, but at least the Martyr ability on my Firecaller also increased the stats of my Fina and my tank. 🤗

My Fina killed their tank easily and my tank almost killed their Antoid, but his Shield ability saved him until the end of the round, because the Earthquake killed him and damaged the others.

Luckily my Fina was a bit quicker than her counterpart and quickyl killed their Tenyii Striker while their Fina had to attack my super strong tank.

In the final round my Fina was much quicker than his opponent, so she managed to kill her and win the battle for me. Like I said before Fina Voxom was a key figure in this battle, but luckily I managed to build a bit better lineup than my opponent. 😇
