Overview
Today I brought a Wild battle, where I used an old tactic to bring down my opponent and when Bera Dallin step into the world of Splinterlands I used to play with her a lot. 😇
My upcoming Battle ruleset(s)
| Ruleset | Description |
|---|---|
| Equalizer | The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health. |
| Born Again | All Monsters have the Rebirth ability. |
| Weak Magic | Magic attacks hit Armor before reducing Health. |
The mana cap for my next battle is 35, which is quite good, but not too much to ruin my strategy, because if my opponent would have too much damage in a short period of time they could easily destroy my battle plan. 😊
The Equalizer is a very good ruleset easpecially in a very low mana cap battle, because it will increase the health to all the monsters on the battlefield, so it will be possible to use cheap monsters with low health in a much different way than a regular battle without this ruleset.
The Born Again ruleset is also a tricky one and it is important to take advantage of that, because all of the monsters on the battlefield will have two life, so if they die they will get Resurrected back with one health.
The Weak Magic will help a bit with the monsters who has a lot of armor, because even the magic attack won't be able to penetrate their target's armor, so they need to reduce that first, before their health. 🤗
My lineup
 | The Byzantine Kitty is an amazing Summoner, because she gives +2 speed and the Aim True ability to all of her monsters, so even though they will have high speed they won't be able to miss their target. She also has the Heal ability, so she will able to Heal the monster in the first position in every round. 😌 |
| Bera Dallin is an excellent tank, because he has the Taunt ability, so all the enemy monsters has to target her. Luckily she has quite a lot of armor and a lot of health, which is necessary for a tank. 😇 |  |
 | The Venari Crystalsmith is a monster with the Heal capability, so in every round my tank will receive two portion of Heal. She also has ranged attack as well, which is good from a four man cost monster. 😆 |
| The Truthspeaker is cheap, so she doesn't have any attack, but she has the Protect ability, which will provide +2 armor to all of her teammates as long as she is alive. 😎 |  |
 | Zyriel is a very important monster in this team, because she has quite a good ranged attack damage, but more importantly she has the Weapons Training ability, so she will be able to give her ranged attack to her adjacent non-attack monsters such as to the Truthspeaker. She also has the Life Leech ability, so with every damage she makes she will increase her own health by half of that damage. 😉 |
| The Scavo Hireling is my armorer for this game, because he has the ability to restore some of the armor that has been lost on one of my monsters, which would be Bera as long as she is alive. He laso doesn't have any attack, so Zyriel will provide him some ranged attack, which makes him an excellent monster for this battle. 😌 |  |
The Battle
My opponent brought Helios Matriarch, who is a Dragon Summoner, and if he wants he will have the option some pretty good Dragon monster as well. The Matriarch gives +1 speed to his monsters and will be able to use one Gladiator monster as well. 😅
My opponent had quite a lot of damage especially from the damaged Drybone Barbarian, but luckily one armor piece on my Bera blocked his attack with his 8 damage right at the start. When the Barbarian was attacked by my Bera he instantly Retaliated that attack, but my Scavo was quicker than him and restored some of Bera's armor back to block that huge attack aagain.
In the second round Bera couldn't take any more damage and died, but she got Resurrected back thanks to the Born Again ruleset with +8 armor and she quickly got some Heal. I was lucky to be able to kill their Barbarian tice this round, so their off-tank Marisol became their main tank who is pretty strong as well thanks to her huge speed and damage.
In the third round both of our team took a lot of damage, but both tanks survived. My team only in the fourth round was able to kill their Marisol, because she had only one support monster and by the time they were able to kill my tank Bera received some armor or Heal.
In the fifth round my team finallly killed their tank and if I count it right the rest of their team just lacked enough damage to kill my Bera, because my team had two Healer and one Armorer to keep her alive, so as soon as they lost their two tank my team was able to won the battle easily. 💪

Did your strategy work? What will you try differently next time?
My strategy worked as I wanted, but the first two round was critical, because if my opponent would be able to kill my Bera quickly they would have won this battle.
Their team was capable to kill her first, but thanks to the Born Again ruleset she managed to get back to her feet and with the help of her supporters she stood firm at the first position afterwards. 😊
