What’s up my fellow Splinterlands Players!
I hope all of you are enjoying this fabulous day with your loved ones and for those who play splinterlands daily just like me, I guess you are holding It well as the SPS price after a long fight has finally come down to 0.01$ per unit and DEX has also lost value significantly. Is it the sudden downtrend that affected the whole Crypto world and both BTC & ETH and all other major alt coins are currently facing a sharp Downtrend, or people are not liking the changes made? Anyway, It's scary to see my favourite coins getting smacked so hard and hope they start recovering quickly from here. Now looking at my progress for this ranked season, I am so glad to say I have touched the Champion League while playing the last night, though later I started losing matches heavily and now staying at Diamond I tier with a current trophy rating of 3,660. So far I have earned around 88k Glint points this season and having another around 3 days in hand, I will try my best to reach into the Champ League again looting some more SPS and Glints on the way.
Now, let us be talking about the next conflict airdrop event which is about to happen in just after 9 days and 18 hours. So those of you who are staking rebellion cards and packs in their in-game wagons like me are definitely waiting eagerly for this next card to get unlocked. The next rebellion airdrop card is named Cryptic and it will be a summoner card and for every 325 chances, stakers will have one guaranteed copy of this airdrop card. So far in this ongoing conflict session, I have Earned 630 so far and another 20 chances away to secure my 2nd guaranteed card. I don't think that with the amount of time left for this card to get unlocked, I will generate enough Chances to get another, though I am Generating 129k Contribution points per hour. So I will be just praying, so that this time my luck shines and I get extra copies.
Now moving on, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, we will be discussing a fierce range attacker who does not miss his attack ever and with his high-powered range blows, he takes down even the Giant ones easily. As you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be talking about Dhampir Stalker. So without any further ado, let’s start…
Dhampir Stalker
DHAMPIR STALKER is a chaos edition monster that is a rare type card and needs a total of 115 BCX of cards to be upgraded to max level. This card belongs to the Death element and it costs 7 mana to be used in battles, so you can fit this card in your lineups easily while playing medium to large mana limit matches. It is a range attack type card and at max level, it carries a powerful 5 range attack which will serve you well as a main attacker. Let us now take a deeper look into its stats and abilities league wise below.
BRONZE
At level 2, this card possesses 3 range attack at 3 speed with 5 health and also gets the True Strike ability since its initial level. With the help of True Strike ability, it will never miss its attack on any monster and having 3 attack with true strike. He will definitely bring mayhem even at the bronze level.
SILVER
When getting upgraded to level 4, this monster gets an increased 4 ranged attack at 3 speed with 6 health along with the True Strike ability that I mentioned above. The increased attack will help you kill Down enemy cards faster while avoiding any Force Field defences due to having 4 attack.
GOLD
At level 6, this card receives 4 ranged attack at 3 speed with 7 health and also gets a new ability called Deathblow. With this new ability, this card will now do 2x damage to an enemy card if that card is the only single card left alive on the opponent’s lineup.
DIAMOND / CHAMPION
When you finally upgrade this card to level 8, it possesses am increased 5 ranged attack at 4 speed with 7 health along with those 2 abilities that I mentioned above. Now having a card with 5 range attack that will not be missed at any chance, we get assurance of having a good attacker to weaken the opponent from the beginning.
Battle Link
BATTLE STAT
Well, this time I got a medium ranged 41 mana limit battle where only 2 elements were allowed to choose from- Death and Dragon. There were also 3 match rulesets applied in this battle - Enrage, Rise of Commons and No Melee monsters. After things a bit, I finally decided to build a Death Lineup with a mix of both Magic and Ranged attackers. I thought that I would protect the front heavily to give my rear monsters enough time and on the other hand, I would choose some high attacking archers including the Stalker to launch heavy attacks from my back since beginning onto enemy cards. So as thought, I selected the Death Summoner Thaddius Brood and at my front defence position, I chose the Smith followed by a Weapon Training card Moxian Rebel, Rigtwing, Queen of Crows, Dhampir Stalker and Supply Runner at the end.
As both the lineups got revealed, I found out that my opponent had chosen the Dragon summoner Quix and at his front, he chose the same Smith followed by Moxian Rebel, Riftwing, Queen of Crows, Hunter and Stalker at his last position. He also chose a similar type of lineup, but he thought to weaken only my range cards heavily with Crows, Righwing and Quix whereas I am having 3 magic attackers too. On the other hand, I would be weakening both his magic and ranged monster with my summoner, Riftwing and Crows.
MATCH BEGINS
As the match began, as expected all my 3 archer cards were weakened by the opponent’s 3 anti range buffs while I also weakened both of his magic and range type attackers with my Brood, Riftwing and Queen. As the match started, all the enemy front attacks became useless and only his stalker was successful damaging my smith and his sneak card damaging my Supply Runner. But on the other side, both my smith and Stalker were attacking his front defence Smith and after the match went for a while, his Sneak Hunter card was able to kill down my supply but just before that, I also was successful in killing down his front defence smith.
At round 6, after I Killed down his Smith and started attacking his rear cards starting with the Moxian rebel, he also killed down my Supply with this Hunter card. I killed his Riftwing at level 8 and at level 9, he killed my MAIN Attacker Stalker, but then when his Hunger came at the front, I had won the math already. Anyway, I took care of those 2 remaining cards quickly and won this amazing match and also earned myself Some More SPS and Glint points.
I hope you liked watching the battle that I shared above and also liked reading my post about it. Do you also use this monster often or choose other ones over it.
Let me know your experiences in the comment section below and I will be seeing you all in my next post.
Wish you all good luck on all of your future Splinterlands matches.
