What’s up my fellow Splinterlands players!

I hope all of you are spending an amazing weekend with your family and loved ones and also enjoying this game in your daily free time. For those who play this strategy game seriously on a daily basis, I guess all of you are pretty busy with the ongoing ranked season in the game. Right now, there are only 18 hours left for this current ranked season to meet its end and I hope you all are grinding hard currently in order to reach your goals, whether it is to reach a particular league tier and collect those awesome league tier reward chests or to secure a position in the Champion Top Leaderboard. Now talking about me, right now I am playing at Champion III tier with a current trophy count of 3,720 and though I have already reached a bit above somehow this time, I have lost some matches afterwards and came down to this trophy rating again. Now having another 18 hours left, I would just keep playing cautiously and try to earn a little more SPS and Glint points and let’s see how it goes till the end.

Now moving on, let me come to the main topic of this post as today, I will be talking about amazing another Rebellion with you all and as you have already seen in the thumbnail above, today I will be showcasing the leader of the sky, PALLUS. So, if you are interested, let’s take a dive without any further ado.

PALLUS

PALLUS is a monster type card that for introduced in the game with the launch of Rebellion edition cards and it falls under the Core card-set. This monster belongs to the Neutral element, so you can easily choose this card while selecting any element if it is allowed by the ruleset. This monster’s attack type is melee and it is an Epic type card, so you will need a total of 46 BCXs of cards in order to upgrade this card to max level. It costs 8 mana to be used in battles, so you can use this card when playing medium to high mana limit matches. Now apart from a decent melee attack, average speed and a good combo of armour + health, it also comes with 4 abilities which I am going to talk about later in this post. Let us now look deeper into this card’s league-wise stats and abilities and learn more about this monster below.

BRONZE

At level 2, this monster possesses 3 melee attack at 3 speed with 1 armour and 7 health and not only that, but it also gets 3 abilities since its initial level which are Flying, Reach and Kindred Spirit:True Strike. With the Flying ability, this monster now has more chance to evade an attack if the enemy is non-flying, Reach ability will allow this card to attack while at second position and with the help of Kindred Spirit:True Strike, at the start of battle, adjacent units with kindred will gain True Strike ability.

SILVER

When you upgrade this card to level 3, all of its stats remain the same as of its previous level - 3 melee attack at 3 speed with 1 armour and 8 health but gladly, it receives a new ability at this level called Lookout. With this newly added ability, adjacent units take 1 less damage from Sneak, Snipe and Opportunity attacks, and it also reduces damages from all enemy Ambush attacks (rounded down).

GOLD

As this card gets upgraded to level 5, it then receives an increased stats of 4 melee attack at 3 speed with 1 armour and 20 health along with those 4 abilities that I mentioned above.

DIAMOND / CHAMPION

Finally, when this monster reaches its max level of 6, it gets a further increased stats of 5 melee attack at 3 speed with 1 armour and 10 health along with those 4 abilities. Now though it does not receive any new abilities, its increased attack power will definitely help you in battles by killing down enemy cards faster.

BATTLE STAT

This time I got a high 45 mana limit match where all the elements except the Life were allowed to choose from in this battle. There were also 3 rulesets applied in this match as follows - Four’s a Crowd (only max 4 monsters can be used in this battle), Up, Close and Personal (Only melee monsters can be used in this battle) and Even Stevens (only monsters with even mana cost can be used in this match). So after acknowledging all the rules and limits of this match, I started thinking of a suitable and effective strategy for this match and decided to use 2 big defensive monsters at the front and not to use any weak sneak cards at least and then as I thought, I started building my lineup accordingly.

For this match, first of all, I chose the Dual legendary summoner Eternal Tofu and at the first position of my lineup, I chose Arkemis the Bear followed by the Pallus, Runi and the Drybone Raider at the end position. Anyway, when both the lineups were revealed, I found out that my opponent had chosen the Dragon summoner Helios Matriarch and at his front position, he chose the Djinn Chwala followed by Quora Towershed, Venari Knifer and the same Drybone Raider at the end position.

As the battle began, my Arkemis, Pallus and Drybone started hitting the enemy Chwala one by one and killed it down in the very first round but my Arkemis was also wounded heavily. My Runi attacked and broke down the enemy Drybone’s armour next and round 1 ended here. Then in round 2, my Runi killed down the enemy Quora followed by the Venari Knifer who killed my wounded Arkemis at the beginning of round 3. After that my Pallus attacked but missed its target in the Venari, but soon after my Runi wounded it down to 3 health and round 3 ended here. At round 4, both the Venari and Drybone attacked my Pallus back to back and killed it down. My Drybone attacked but missed its target both times but gladly, Runi with its true strike killed down the Venari and the only enemy monster that remained at this point was the Drybone Raider. Finally, in round 5, my Drybone Raider took care of that last monster alive and thus, I won another awesome match.
