I want to give a brief update with my experience with Waka Spiritblade after two days since I purchased the card. The experience has been mostly positive.
Silver to Diamond
One of my long term goals was to regain rating at diamond league and above. What I could not accomplish to do for the past year is exactly that. I knew my account had reasonable cards for monsters as I had multiple max level monsters and a set of rare summoners at max level. Yet I was unable to get into Diamond league at all. The best I could do was around 2600 rating and some where in Gold II and Gold I.
Waka is technically my first and max level legendary summoner. Just this past two days of using the card has made me want to buy more legendary summoners. I did not outright win every battle but I had longer winning streaks than losing. In addition as I moved up to diamond league rating I manage to start earning more DEC in rank battles. I can not wait to review my season ending results in less than three days from now.

The card is holding up in price reasonable well for now. Last time checked there were still plenty of them for sale over on atomichub, however the sell price over at hive chain open market it is still a little over $1600. Waka has been over the $1500 for a while and I suppose it will hold at this rate and not fall further as its the current price offered by the Splinterlands' developers themselves.
Conclusions
When I initially purchased Waka and saw that not many were being bought I had some buyer remorse. The fact that less than 20 got sold out of a total of 480 made me worry.
On the other hand using the card in my collection at rank battles has been pleasantly surprising. I was not expecting to get into diamond this quickly with just one card, but here I am. Looking forward to continue progressing with Waka and hoping to add new legendary summoners into my collection as Chaos Legions air drops rolls out soon.
