Range attacking monsters comes very handy in long distance strategy battle for this week's secret battle challenge we're going to put range monsters into good use, aside melee attacking monster range monsters are one of my favourites list lineup monsters to in use in battle since monster with thorn abilities have little effect on them.
Importantly in most battle we can't overlook the place of range monsters even though they directly affect a monster shield before their health, in some battle range monsters lack abilities to attack from front position this put limitation when used in the arena.
Here are some tips for this battle
Take advantage of the battle using close attacking range monsters.
Add return fire ability range attackers with healing monster.
There are range monsters with double strike abilities., fire return and blast ability take advantage of them.
For this battle challenge I used life element monster to take out my opponent with their water element monsters. Below is the battle link.
Battle ruleset
Going the distance requires use of monsters that won't necessarily need to have close contact with an opponent monster, range monsters are best suitable for this position as they can attack an opponent from distance. The ruleset is quite straight forward only used monsters with range attacking abilities as stated one need know their monsters and how to line them up since most range attackers can only attack from distance they loss their attacking abilities once they are in from position.
With that been said one need to be careful when choosing their lineup monsters for this ruleset.
Battle detail
The battle between range, for this ruleset each summoner was given 26 cost mana cap to come up with their lineup monster since the mana cost was small one need to be careful when choosing their lineup monsters. My opponent came up with water element monsters while I used life element monster for this battle ruleset.
My fire blast range monster did champion this battle as I was able to take out my opponent.
Battle lineup
ANACHORN BOLTER My first lineup monster ANACHORN BOLTER has ability to reduce all range attack monster from my opponent side by minus one unit. With this special ability I can take some good advantage of the battle, ANACHORN BOLTER has both range and magic attacking ability which mean at frontline position it attack an opponent lineup.
VENARO CRYSTALSMITH a healing tank range monster this monster ability in the battle is always very important as it helps support my tank with additional health it can also attack an opponent tank.
PRISMMOLOGIST this monster took bigs mana space but was very formidable with it fire blast ability when it attacks an opponent tank its subsequent monster also takes additional health damage.
XENITH ARCHER this backline range monster has no special ability but it can launch attack on an opponent tank which makes it very useful as well in this battle.
Battle strategy
I had a very good lineup monster for this ruleset and my strategy was very good as my opponent was defeated.
First my tank with it ability to reduce all range attack damage by minus one unit was a very good one followed by my second lineup monster with it healing ability to give additional health to my tank when my opponent strike. Since most range attackers focus more on tanks my healing monster will be very useful.
My third lineup monster which uses blast ability while attacking my opponent tank will as well keep damage other lineup health from my opponent line. My strategy did work out as plan and I did take out my opponent after the last round.
Battle arena
The battle rumble started and my team got ambushed which gave my opponent opportunity to attack first, the first round went well with no monster eliminate but as the battle gets firece only the brave will come out strong.
Round 1 First round started with six against four splinterland isn't just about number but strategy at round one my opponent first lineup monster was eliminated.
Round 2 Round two the battle was on my side as I kept taking out my opponent monsters in each round without mercy.
Round 3 the battle of six against four now became four against four battle at this point it all shows who will be going out victorious at the end.
Round 4 My healing monster and blast ability monsters are really doing great in the battle as the have help hold the battle line up.
Round 5 There no hiding place for my opponent the battle has already been decided and the winner declared.
