This week's secret battle challenge is a rare type of battle that requires some tenacity and strategy not all splinterlanders are used to this battle ruleset as there are guides and selective monster card a player needs to come up with to beat their opponents.
This time around my opponent came well prepared than me and gave me a whopping defeat with their lineup monsters the ruleset isn't limited to certain kinds of monsters as all abilities monsters can be used in the battle line but carefully selecting our lineup will go a long way to decide if one can readily win or not.
Tips for this ruleset
A very good strategy for winning noxious fumes ruleset is adding scavenging ability monster to your lineup.
Monsters with good health stats will be of big advantage.
Swiftly attack as fast as possible using magic, range or melee.
Healing monsters can be handy as long they have good health stats.
This battle ruleset is a bit complex than it looks in this battle ruleset I used earth element monsters to come up against my opponent while my opponent used death element monster for their battle below is the battle link.
Battle ruleset
Noxious Fumes all units are poisoned at the start of battle and gets additional poison after each round only means of surviving in this ruleset is getting on with monsters with scavenging ability they are get additional health as more monsters get eliminated from battle.
Battle detail
For this battle ruleset 41 cost mana cap was given for both summoners to come up with their lineup monsters my opponent understood how the ruleset works and came up with more none flying monsters from death element and a scavenger while I did used some few none flying monsters form earth element at the end of the battle round my opponent was crowned victorious.
Battle lineup
HILL GIANT My first lineup monster as tank is a melee attacking monster with limited ability it can only attack from frontline it has no special ability since it has some good health stat it can take some few round damage.
MYCELIC SLIPSPAWN My next lineup monster is a taunt monster with magic attacking ability with its taunt ability and health stats it can take several damages from my opponent it good attacking ability makes it good for this lineup.
GRUND a melee attacking monster with double strike abilities it can only attack from frontline position making it a bit vulnerable for this ruleset.
REGAL PERYTON This is my first none flying ability monster in my lineup its a magic attacker which is immune to the Noxious Fumes in this ruleset.
ENDLESS APE a scavenging monster which gains additional health whenever a monster is eliminated from the battle arena its a melee attacking monster which means it can only attack from frontline position.
XENITH ARCHER My last lineup monster a range attacking monster it use in this ruleset is very minimal as it can be easily eliminated from Noxious Fumes poison.
Battle strategy
My strategy in this ruleset was to distract my opponent with my first tank and taunt monster since the ruleset poison and reduce monster health using my first two lineup monsters was to buy time in the battle.
I wanted to reserve my double strike monster and scavenging monster for the last lap of the battle as they can easily take out monster with their high attacking speed while my none flying ability monster with magic ability attacks my opponent tank.
My strategy did not work as planned as my opponent was a bit advance with their strategy my opponent came up with more none flying monsters and added a taunt monster which lead to their victory.
Battle arena
The battle lasted seven rounds it was a clash of clain battle as we did go head to head in the final round leaving only one monster to survive the battle from my opponent side.
Round 1 its a battle of six against six the battle arena is set and each monster is ready to rumble first round did went on well there was no monster eliminated but lot of damage was done on both sides.
Round 2 in the second round both side monsters were eliminated due the the Noxious Fumes effects on both affecting both monsters.
Round 3 in round three only one monster made it to this round on my lineup which shows this battle isn't going to be on my favour this time will live to fight another day.
Round 4,,7 At the last round my opponent scavenging monster was able to start and keep the victory for my opponent.
