Part 2: 0.1 DEC cheap rental of alpha cards to gain DEC reward bonus: https://peakd.com/hive-13323/@mhozilla/part-2-of-rent-to-earn-series-in-bronzesilver-league-dec-reward-bonus-trick-through-01-cheap-rentals
Today I will be sharing cheap and useful Fire cards to rent amidst this Chaos Legion meta, specifically below 1 DEC per day for each card. If you are climbing from Bronze through Silver, these cards will be useful for your climb if you are using Fire. However, it would be more advantageous to rent for other Splinters as well, which I will share in the next part of the series.
In the meantime, refer to the table below for my remarks and the rulesets that the cards will be effective in.
Card Name | Rent Price (in DEC) | Position | Effective Rulesets | Remarks |
---|---|---|---|---|
Kobold Miner | 0.17/2.47* | 3/4/5 | Equalizer, Even Stevens, Explosive Weaponry, Little League | *Alpha card gives bonus DEC of 10%; A must-rent |
Goblin Shaman | 0.1 | 2/3/4/6 | Equal Opportunity, Little League, , Odd Ones Out | Alpha card gives bonus DEC of 10%; When Tarsa gives +1 HP and Goblin Shaman gives -1 HP, you might lead game with 2 HP difference, though I find that having more damage yields higher win rate |
Cerberus | 0.78 | 1 | Melee Mayhem, Equal Opportunity, Even Stevens, Little League, Super Sneak, Spreading Fury | Alpha card gives bonus DEC of 10%; Heal proves to be useful in certain situation but not the best tank option |
Giant Roc | 0.1 | 2 | Earthquake, Odd Ones Out, Spreading Fury | Alpha card gives bonus DEC of 10%; Alternate Reach option that yields bonus DEC reward compared to Fineas Rage or Magma Troll; I personally prefer Sneak/Opportunity compared to Reach |
Serpentine Soldier | 0.35 | 1 | Melee Mayhem, Equal Opportunity, Explosive Weaponry, Odd Ones Out, Super Sneak, Spreading Fury | Alpha card gives bonus DEC of 10%; A good alternative to Antoid Platoon or Living that yields bonus DEC reward; There are times where I rather pop a few 1 mana monsters as fodder and focus more on high damage |
Molten Ogre | 0.1 | 4/5 | Melee Mayhem, Equal Opportunity, Odd Ones Out, Reverse Speed, Super Sneak, Spreading Fury | Promo card gives bonus DEC of 10%; Combo with Disintegrator to grant -2 Melee attack to all enemies; Can be clunky when not able to attack from any positions but thats the main disadvantage of melee monsters |
Ant Miners | 0.1 | 2/3/4 | Melee Mayhem, Equal Opportunity, Equalizer, Even Stevens, Little League, Reverse Speed, Super Sneak | Can be good in Noxious Fumes given that two monsters die to pop it to 3 health to survive first wave of poison; A good cheap tank alternative but I would refrain from putting in first position |
Flame Monkey | 0.1 | 1/2/3 | Melee Mayhem, Equal Opportunity, Equalizer, Odd Ones Out, Reverse Speed, Super Sneak | One of the 1-mana fodder I use alongside Radiated Scorcher for low mana matches; Tarsa gives it that damage and health boost which gives it good value for 1 mana |
Fineas Rage | 0.12 | 2 | Odd Ones Out, Spreading Fury | One of the best reach cards and you definitely want this in high mana games if monsters are not allowed to attack in positions, else there are better melee monsters for high mana |
Efreet Elder | 0.12 | 6 | Equal Opportunity, Even Stevens | Not a personal fan of this card but I have seen it win games in clutch battles; sometimes you want to diversify your team with range or melee to avoid counters, but if you are playing Fire, just Melee all the way man |
Lava Launcher | 0.26 | 6 | Equal Opportunity, Odd Ones Out | Can be placed in any positions but given that most Fire monsters are melee, it is most advantageous to put it in the backlines; good for high mana battles if you cannot attack from any positions |
Tusk the Wide | 0.33 | 1 | Melee Mayhem, Equal Opportunity, Even Stevens, Reverse Speed, Super Sneak, Spreading Fury | A must-rent cards, good counter and tank for magic lineups; even if you are not against magic, that high chunk of health just soaks up so much damage; You just feel safe with it in first position in almost all situations |
Forgotten One | 0.33 | 4 | Melee Mayhem, Equal Opportunity, Noxious Fumes, Odd Ones Out, Super Sneak, Spreading Fury | You just love it in Noxious Fumes when everyone else dies and it is still alive, as though the grim reaper forgotten to take it with him |
I hope the post has been helpful for you. Leave a comment down below if there is a specific Splinter you would like to see in the next part of the series. Thank you for reading.
