Hello people on splinterlands, how are you all?
Time is ticking on and on and the days are passing like a bullet train is crossing the station one after another. Weeks are passing so fast as well. Thats how time flies away I guess. So a new week to showcase some new battles, thoughts, and strategies to share with you guys. We do learn from each other's experiences, right? So , here i am with my this week's battles to showcase.
Let's go ahead with the battles one by one...
Battle - 1: Magic for The Little Ones
Ruleset: Little League
- Only units and summoners with a mana cost of 4 or less may be used.
This one was an intense one, head to head that was unpredictable till the last round whether I would win or not.
On low mana battles or these kinda low mana monster battles, I mostly rely on two summoner, TARSA and OBSIDIAN for their +1 stats. When its low mana I mostly go with the magic one as they mostly attacks directly to the health without hitting the armor so thats another plus point for me.
Planned the same here as well, All I got magic monsters that costs less than 4 mana and see the lineups filled with some good cards as well. It was a tough one as my opponent's summoner gave them the cripple ability so I had to suffer a lot still managed to get the victory.
Battle - 2: Perfect Strategy
Ruleset: Fire & Regret
- All units receive the Return Fire ability at the start of the battle.
- Enemy units that attack with ranged attacks receive damage back.
This one was interesting, a perfect strategy you may say. We got three kind of attacks, magic, melee, and ranged. Our ruleset is against the ranged one as they would get back the damage done. For magic? My summoner takes away 1 magic attack from all the enemy magic monsters. And for Melee? I got a tank with thorns ability that does 2 melee attack back to the melee attacker.
Surprisingly, my opponent appeared with a ranged monster and magic with bloodlust in the front. Well, I got all prepared to tackle. Won the battle within a blink of an eye.
Battle - 3: Melee Time
Ruleset: Up Close and Personal
- Only units with melee attacks can be used.
- Use Thorns and Demoralize to counter melee attacks.
- Units with 2 types of attacks (including melee) can be used.
Melee? One of my favortie type to go with and there I got TARSA to back me up that my opponent came with for the extra melee attacks. As I had some good mana limit so I had planned to go with the gians to bring in. With 5 mana cost, Underboss Fabino is a great summoner to give +2 melee attacks to two of my monsters.
As per my plan, I had planned a double striking monster as my tank, and a flying ability monster in the second position. Both gets +2 melee attacks and gets even more deadly to take down monsters. In the third position I got a monster with scavenger unit which gets +1 health each time any unit dies. So my thinking was that it will be getting more health by the time it comes in the front line to attack.
This one was like an easy peasy one, this strategy of mine worked like a charm and I won the game without losing any of my monsters.
