Hello guys! It's me again Jhon Rey and this is my second blog about the Share Your Battle Weekly Challenge featuring HILL GIANT.
Let's take a run down first of this card's lore and stats.

Hill Giants live in the Talus Bluffs on the outskirts of the volcano known as the Mountain of Ash. They are nomadic people that travel from hilltop to hilltop following herds of deer and cattle. Though they are intimidating, Hill Giants are typically more far more inquisitive of other cultures and seek to learn from them rather than attack. However, if they need to defend themselves, they attack by ripping boulders from the ground and are able to hurl them up to a mile. The people of Praetoria are glad to have them on their side against the Chaos Legion.

It is very important to observed first the recently used summoners and cards of the enemy before picking yours so that you can counter it.
My enemy always use Tyrus Paladium which gives +1 shield I counter it with Obsidian which gives +1 magic damage, as we all know that magic damage ignores the defence of the enemy except to those monster who have Void Armor skill.
It is the perfect opportunity to use Hill Giant as a tank because of the rule reversed speed, I also put Mycelic morphoid as a sub-tank/fillers, Goblin Psychic as a support/damage, Khmer Princess another attacker with 2 mana cap with 1 speed and Goblin Tower as a damager and defense against sneaky monster.
Take note, Please understand well the rules of the battle. It seems the enemy forget about the reverse speed. He uses monster who have high speed and also use ooze that can reduce the speed of the enemy's monster.
Round 1 - All of my monster attack first, the first to fall was Silvershield Knight then my Goblin Tower.
Round 2 - As usual my monster attack 1st during this round Creeping Ooze and Silvershield Assassin where knock out.
My Khmer Princess dodge the fatal attack of Stitch Leech
Round 3 - Only 2 monsters where left in enemies side, The Feral Spirit and Stitch Leech on the other hand I still have four monsters standing strong. During this round the Feral Spirit was killed by Goblin Psychic.
Round 4 - The last round, Hill Giant attack 1st followed by Khmer Princess and finish by Goblin Psychic and that leads me to Victory.
My Strategy Worked and I won the battle not only because of Hill Giant but also by understanding the rules of the game and ability of the monsters.
