Temporal Master is one of the new chaos legion epic cards and it is quite cheap to max out right now, costing only around 13 USD. No one seems to be interested in using this card so I don't expect the price to rise anytime soon.
Temporal master is quite cheap mana wise but it isn't that useful, health points and speed aren't great. It would be knocked out in one hit by most attackers, probably before it could even strike given its low speed.
That said there is a dragon summoner that can make this card quite powerful. Using a +1 to magic attacks makes each attack strike for a total of 9 damage every other round, since it uses magic damage that amount of damage will probably knock out anything in its path. You just have to make sure it doesn't get attacked by anything while it recharges.
BEST RULESETS
Back to Basics - One of the only cards that actually does quite well without having any ability. When playing back to basic the temporal master doesn't have to recharge so it will attack every single round instead of every other round with the 3x damage.
Explosive Weaponry - Imagine getting it by a blast of 9 + 5 damage from a card that costs only 3 mana, pretty insane.
Reverse Speed - Having a low speed stat can come in handy every now and then. Blasting the frontline before it has a chance to move, assuming it has a speed stat over 1 since magic damage wins the speed tie break.
Ruleset: Heavy Hitters
Mana Cap: 12
Battle Link
I love playing low mana cap matches as I usually do quite well. The strategy behind this match was a little bit lazy, I just focused on bringing as many low mana-cost cards as I could, hence why the temporal master was included.
Round 1
My furious chicken did a splendid job, tanking two attacks before it goes down. The temporal master is charged up and the rest of the team distributed some chip damage.
Round 2
Peace Bringer misses his attack and my harpy knocks out the soul fiend. My Temporal Master blows his pelacor out of the battle with a single blow, and it only reflects 1 damage back. My archers keept chipping away at the enemy.
Round 3 & 4
Archers and the reflect damage take out the divine healer leaving only two enemies that can't attack from the position they're sitting on. The Temporal Master Charges and gets ready to blow another enemy away in a single blow.
Harpy goes directly for the chicken and takes it out leaving only one defenseless Peacebringer standing. The temporal master is all charged up and delivers one massive attack to finish the match.
One thing I realized after the battle is how useful the temporal master is against healing teams. What's the point of having a healer if your frontline gets vaporized by a massive 6 damage strike from this beast?
I won't be using this card often since I don't have the right summoner to squeeze out its full potential but I will keep it around for these low mana cost matches where it can make the difference.
