This time, its also not about a specific monster like the last post, its about a specific ruleset with a lot of monsters. I tried only melee attackers on the battlefield in what doesn't kill you ruleset.
What Doesn't Kill You: All monsters gets enrage ability in this ruleset and enrage ability gives 50% bonus melee attack and speed when the monster is not at full health. I chose only melee monsters because of this special ruleset giving extra magic attack and that strategy paid off well.
Let's get to the battle.
Here's the battle link if you wish to check.
Choosing Monsters
My Team | Opponent's Team |
---|---|
Grum Flameblade | Cursed Windeku |
Aganju | Carrion Shade |
Tenyii Striker | Life Sapper |
Scorch Fiend | Ravenhood Warden |
Nil | Soul Strangler |
Nil | Creeping Ooze |
I created my team selecting four monsters and my opponent created their team selecting six monsters where I used fire element and my opponent used death element.
After choosing Plado Emberstorm as the summoner, I used four melee attack monsters and three of them had some special abilities that allows them to do something special like Grum Flameblade gets +1 to all stats every time it defeats an opponent for bloodlast ability and magic attacks hit this monsters armor before its health for its void armor ability, Aganju may attack from the second position on the team for reach ability, Tenyii Striker targets the last unit on the enemy team instead of the first unit for sneak ability.
The Battle
All my melee attackers (all I chose was melee attackers) were blessed with one extra melee attack each from my summoners buff and all of them got one speed as well and my summoner decreased one health portion from all opponent monsters who had bigger health portions than one and the opponent summoner did the same with decreasing health portion.
My monsters had bigger speed stats but the opponent's Creeping Ooze slowed them down in the field of speed by using its slow ability. Even then my Aganju took the first turn but unfortunately that turn killed the attacker himself as the target had thorns ability. So I didn't take the first kill but my opponent did.
Then my Tenyii Striker damaged the armor stats of Creeping Ooze and then all the opponent monsters were attacking my Grum Flameblade and was damaging only armor as there was a big armor as five. Even magic monster was damaging the armor instead of health portion as my Grum Flameblade had void armor ability.
After damaging the whole armor of my Grum Flameblade, the opponent's Ravenhood Warden then damaged a single health of my monster and my Grum Flameblade now got three extra melee damage and now have total eight although he should've got four extra melee as the enrage ability promises 50%.
Then my Grum Flameblade took only one shot on Cursed Windeku that had eight health portions and the opponent monster died at once and I got the first kill now. Although the opponent monster damaged two health of my attacker before leaving the battlefield with using its thorns ability and my attacker got +1 to all stats for bloodlast.
Then it was the second round already and my Grum Flameblade was now the fastest so it attacked and damaged only one armor of opponent's Carrion Shade with frigging nine melee damages, those frigging armors are really great in these ways.
Then my Tenyii Striker killed the opponent's Creeping Ooze and my monsters got the speed back that the opponent monster was slowing down all this time. And my Grum Flameblade killed opponent's Carrion Shade and got +1 to all stats again and now has eleven melee damages, yeah frigging eleven.
The opponent monsters were also getting enrage ability but they were dying soon so that ability was no help to them. Next my Tenyii Striker killed the opponent's Soul Strangler and the opponent monsters almost killed my Grum Flameblade but it was saved somehow after an opponent monster missed its attack.
Grum Flameblade now gave me another kill and got +1 to all stats again and has twelve melee damage now. My Tenyii Striker then damaged the armor of the last opponent monster who jus became a goat in the team as it now can't attack from the first position as its a ranged attacker.
Then my Grum Flameblade took the pleasure in killing another monster and the fun thing was, it got increased stats again even when the game was already came to the finishing line.
So, what do you think of this ruleset and about my play?
