This time, its not about a specific monster, its about a specific ruleset with a lot of monsters. I tried only magic attackers on the battlefield in wands out ruleset so did my opponent team.
Wands Out: Only units with magic attacks may be used.
This ruleset allows only magic monsters in the battle where melee and ranged monsters can't be used. There can be certain strategies to be chose in this ruleset like using Phase, Void, Void Armor, and Magic Reflect to counter magic attacks and there are certain summoners who supports magic monsters with extra stats and they can be used as well for a better strategy.
Let's get to the battle.
Here's the battle link if you wish to check.
Choosing Monsters
My Team | Opponent's Team |
---|---|
Runemancer Kye | Regal Peryton |
Djinn Oshannus | Elven Mystic |
Coral Wraith | Goblin Psychic |
Dwarven Wizard | Venari Spellsmith |
Enchanted Pixie | Khmer Princess |
Ice Pixie | Mycelic Slipspawn |
I created my team selecting six monsters and my opponent also created their team selecting six monsters where I used water element and my opponent used earth element.
After choosing Valnamor as the summoner, I used six magic attack monsters and all of them had some special abilities that allows them to do something special like Runemancer Kye, Enchanted Pixie and Ice Pixie has a 25% bonus chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from Units who do not have the flying ability but this ability won't make any difference in this battle as there is no melee or ranged monsters in the battle.
Runemancer Kye also increases its health each time it damages an enemy unit's health by half the damage dealt for life leech ability, Djinn Oshannus reduced damage from magic attacks by 50% for void ability and this makes a huge difference especially in the wands out ruleset, Coral Wraith targets the last unit on the enemy team instead of the first unit for sneak ability and Dwarven Wizard targets the first enemy unit with ranged, magic, or no attack that is not in the first position for snipe ability.
The Battle
All my magic attackers (all I chose was magic attackers) were blessed with one extra magic attack each from my summoners buff and all of them got one speed and one health portion each as well and there I used my brain choosing this summoner who supports magic monsters the most. And all opponent monsters were also blessed with one extra magic attack each for my opponent's summoners buff.
There's Mycelic Slipspawn in the opponent team that impels all opponent monsters to attack this one first with its taunt ability so my monsters started attacking this monster first and my Djinn Oshannus first damaged three health of this opponent monster.
Then the opponent's Regal Peryton damaged two health of my Runemancer Kye and my Runemancer Kye returned it with three damage and it increased the lost two health using its life leech ability. Then my Coral Wraith, then Ice Pixie and then Dwarven Wizard attacked the opponent's Mycelic Slipspawn and killed it.
My Enchanted Pixie then damaged two health of the opponent's Regal Peryton and then the opponent monsters took their chance and killed my Runemancer Kye. The opponent's Regal Peryton got two increased health for the tank heal of Goblin Psychic but it didn't come to any help as the opponent monster died in the next round when my Djinn Oshannus sent its three magic damage and gave me the second kill.
Then my Coral Wraith killed the opponent's Khmer Princess, Ice Pixie and Dwarven Wizard damaged two health portions each of the opponent's Elven Mystic and Goblin Psychic. My Enchanted Pixie then killed the opponent's Elven Mystic.
The opponent's Goblin Psychic increased its health by 2 and then both remaining opponent monsters damaged some health of my Djinn Oshannus and my Djinn Oshannus then first killed the opponent's Goblin Psychic in a new round and then my Coral Wraith gave me the last kill by killing the opponent's Venari Spellsmith.
So, what do you think of wands out ruleset and about my play?
