Greetings to the Splinterlands Community! How is everyone's vacation going? Has it been fun and memorable? It's been quite challenging to travel back to the province due to heavy traffic on the roads. Did you also notice how hot the weather has been? Haha. My fan art journey began last week, but I couldn't finish it right away because I was busy spending time with my family and relatives. After the long vacation, I'm back to participate in Splinterlands Art Contest Week 288! This week, I chose to draw the ELVEN MYSTIC, a Neutral Monster from SPLINTERLANDS. Come and join me as I share the process and inspiration behind my fan art for this week.

Before I started drawing my fan art, I searched for various images on Google for reference, but it wasn't successful because I had a specific idea in mind. I drew using my cellphone on IBISPAINTX. I sketched to clean up the lines and make coloring easier. For the base color, I used shades of blue for her clothes and shades of brown for her skin. I also used dark colors for the hidden details of my fan art. Of course, we need to identify the shadows, so I used multiply layers for hard and soft shadows. I used many layers to make the colors bold because I noticed in my previous fan art that the colors were too light. After achieving the skin color I wanted, I started adding detail to her lips and eyes.

After detailing her entire face and body, I started coloring her hair using the hair brush. I chose dark brown for the color and used the airbrush to add black around the hair to make it look like she's wearing a hood. The last detail I added was to her clothes. I used slightly dark colors for her clothes because the background I'm going to create is a shade of dark brown and black, with some lighter areas near my fan art. After achieving the necessary details, I started drawing the background. I used dark pink violet and black shades for the background to make it look like she's in a dark place. After detailing the background, I added color to her clothes using the pick color and airbrush. I also added stars to her face based on my ELVEN MYSTIC reference. For the magical ball she's holding, I added sky blue using the airbrush and bubbles on the side.
