Greetings to my beloved Splinterlands Community! How is everyone? I am Noblebright once again for Splinterlands Art Contest Week 282! For this week, I chose to draw IIDRI FYRE from the fire element monster. My inspiration for this artwork is to capture the warmth of the summer season and the hot events happening in our world. Enough of the story, join me in the process of creating my fan art for SPLINTERLANDS ART CONTEST WEEK 282! Click to join the contest.
As mentioned before, I am still working on improving my drawing skills, so I continue to practice and watch videos on YouTube for guidance. Contests like these in Splinterlands and the Hive community motivate me to draw and enhance my skills. Before creating the sketch, having references is crucial. I found the references on Google and Splinterlands for IIDRI FYRE.

I used the IBISPAINTX APP on my cellphone, creating a 5000x5000 canvas for better drawing quality, though my phone experienced some slowdown. I started with a sketch on the first layer using both references and then added a new layer to clean up the lines. Afterward, I filled it with base colors based on the IIDRI FYRE reference, using the BUCKET tool.

On top of the base color and a new layer, I added hard and light shadows using the TRIANGLE AIRBRUSH before merging the layers. Another layer was added for details, starting with the eyes and face. Then, I detailed the hair using the HAIR BRUSH from IBISPAINTX, which is free with advertisements haha. After the face and hair, I worked on refining the clothing and added more details. The last detail added was the skin, giving a different touch to my style. Using the WATERCOLOR BRUSH, I colored the background with dark red, red, and yellow, using the SMUDGE TOOL to make it look like fire. I used the Airbrush to add light to the fire around IIDRI FYRE.

I also want to share what I've learned about using the ADD ADJUSTMENT LAYER in the IBISPAINTX APP to enhance the color of my drawing. The left side shows the original, and the right side shows the difference with the adjustment layer – it makes the colors more vibrant and lively. That's it for now, I hope you learned something and enjoyed reading about my process. I hope you also like my IIDRI FYRE FAN ART this week. Thank you very much, and until next time! I love you all.
