Good day everyone and Merry Christmas! Hello and I hope everyone is happy today. It's me Noblebright returning to participate in the Splinterlands Art Contest Week 273! It's been a while since I've been busy with work, so I'm just now able to join before the end of the year haha😅. What I chose to draw is TIME MAGE of life splinter. My approach to drawing was semi-realistic. Since I've been practicing, I don't know if I've achieved it yet. Join me to show you the process of my drawing.
I first searched Google for a good reference for me to make a fun art time mage and I did find the image on Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. This was used as a reference to create my time mage artwork. Of course, the original image of the Time Mage in the Splinterlands will never go away and it also became my guide.

For my line art I first copied the details and shape in my reference before drawing again. I added another layer for my final line art. I layered the hair, skin tone, clothes, and accessories separately so that I don't struggle with coloring.

In coloring, I put the face first. I forgot to put a base color in different parts of my art. I finished coloring the face and did the details as well. The base color of the hair follows. I had a bit of a hard time with the hair because I changed the color three times. Next came the dress and here it was easy because I only used white and gray. As for the accessories, I did a lot of trial and error.

For details and final touches I used an airbrush and Dip Pen Soft. By the way, I use IbisPaint X for drawing because for me it is not complicated to use especially for beginners like me. The only disadvantage is that it lacks tools to improve the color of the art, that's all I can share.
That's all and thank you very much. I hope you enjoy reading the story from scratch to the creation of my TIME MAGE FUN ART. Bye!
