Splinterlands: Start of new era in Splinterlands
Splinterland's went to a long maintenance on the 18th Feb evening (according to the IST time) and when it came back the whole interface specifically playing battle look changed. Though I do not see any problem with the old one but new interface looks more intuitive but give a different and interesting landing page while seeking an opponent and for the "team selection" screen filters are now nicely laid down though I lost one of the battle as I struggled to find the "remove" burron for a card in team selection and later realize that option was displayed below the "selected" card. Apart from this mishap, everything ran fine for me and I guess, I have already played close to 50+ battles in this new interface.
Apart from this UI changes, another big change that is activated now is the Licensce staking/SPS validator nodes groundwork, so there will no more SPS rewards for just owning Licensce in your Splinterland account and to earn rewards they will be need to stake on the Validator Node. Frankly speaking, I have no idea how to setup all this stuff and will be keenly observing that if someone will start rental service for this. At current SPS and Voucher price, I am not sure that one can break even by setting up the Node. I was thinking that LICENSCE might got dumped in Hive-Engine but to my surprise their marginal price improved a little bit. With 3 LICENSE, I am really looking forward to all the LICENSE related news and service to make a good decision for me.
For some unknown reasons, my battling results went well after the UI changes and I guess I won fair amount of the battles. I unlocked the Diamond 3, just day before the UI changes and took break there and resumed game after the UI changes were completed. I easily get past to the Diamond 2 and one point I reached the 3360 rating point, only 40 points below to unlock Diamond 1, if done then it will be my first season of the year unlocking Diamond 1. With more than 7 days are still pending to season end , I will definitely try to be in Diamond 1. I am sharing my rewards for Diamond 3 and Diamond 2 for this season.

I spent some time to check if I am able to level some cards and combine only those cards that I am able to level up otherwise I left them as it is in account.
Now my goal is to unlock at least Diamond 1, and who knows that my luck this time will help me to reach Champion 3 also.
