Splinterlands is a card-based game that uses cards to play. These cards are NFT having unique artwork and some abilities through which we can play the battle in the game. Now there are two ways that we can acquire these cards. First, we can buy the cards on the market or buy the pack and open the pack to get some cards. The second option is to take their cards on rental and this is one of the best options for those who are new in the game and do not want to spend a big amount.
There was a time when I used to take a lot of parts on the rental but not now after I have enough cards with me which I think is good enough for my gameplay. Although I also believe that you will never reach a point where you will be satisfied with the card holding at least having a good number of good cards can be enough to play the game. As of now, it's all good to me and this is why I don't take cards on the rental also I don't rent out my cards because I don't have extra with me.
1-Click Set Rental
Now splinterlands has launched a 1-click set rental which is a fantastic feature in the game. This is a very useful feature for those who rent out their cards. I'm very happy that the team is focused on building the kind of features that are very helpful for the people in the community. Technology is about making things easy for people and I'm glad that the team is using technology to make it more valuable and doing something to make our lives easy.
We’ve introduced the ability to list a set of cards for seasonal rental! Currently, we have a template of Chaos Legion Core + Reward cards available, which will be presented to new users after they purchase their Spellbook.
This rental is for the season and There is one condition if the rent is processed and there are less than seven days left then it will be valid for another season as well. I think it's good because once you take the cars on the rental then it will be valid for the entire season and the next season you can plan it accordingly which is good for the player as well as the card owners. Next time when I think about renting out my cards then for sure I'm going to use this feature but I believe a similar function was already available through third-party websites but it was a paid feature.
This is a newly launched feature by the team and I have not tried it out but maybe I'll give it a try in the coming seasons. Looks like it's not a complicated process because options are easy and we can just follow the steps as provided on the page. I'm sure that this feature is going to help a lot of players in the game but we need to make them aware that there is something like this existing in the game which can make your gameplay even better and easy management are rented cards.
So if you are someone who is renting your cards continuously then it is a great opportunity for you to try this feature and see how it is going to help you. You don't need to use a third-party website to manage these because now it is provided by the game itself and it is free so there is no cost involved. Such a small small features can also be very helpful but this one-click rental is certainly not a small feature and I appreciate the team that has brought something very helpful.
