An Exciting New Era Has Begun With New Rebellion Reward Cards | Splinterlands Social Media Challenge

in #hive-1332327 days ago

Hello everyone, Welcome to my Splinterlands Social Media Challenge post. In this post, I will talk about the highly anticipated and finally released New Rebellion Reward Cards.

A brand new set of reward cards that will accompany the Rebellion set that almost all players have been eagerly waiting for and will add excitement to the Splinterlands game has finally been released. And now we can get new reward (Soulbound) cards from rarity draws and loot chests purchased from our rewards shop in Splinterlands using Glint. This is a really exciting and awesome change.

Meanwhile, Chaos Legion soulbound reward cards have now been gone from the Reward Store forever and replaced with Rebellion. This is the end of an era, but also the beginning of an exciting new one. I think the addition of new cards and new abilities will undoubtedly make Splinterlands even more fun and exciting to play.

The Rebellion reward cards include 12 common cards, 12 rare cards, 7 epic cards, and 12 legendary cards, and I will be getting some of them soon by purchasing draws and chests from my rewards shop. I can't wait to buy and open them.

First of all, a huge thank you to the Splinterlands team for this awesome update. Also, thank you to all the Splinterlands Ambassadors for the Reward Card Sneak Peak.

All New Rebellion Reward Cards have now been added and you can view and review them in the Splinterlands. Click on Items from the top menu and then Cards and go to the Cards page. And as seen in the picture above, you can apply the "All Cards" and "Rebellion ->Rewards" filters and see all the New Rebellion Reward Cards.

I've reviewed almost all of them and they are really amazing cards with great abilities and I can say that I love them all. However, I haven't been able to test them in battles yet as they are not in my deck yet, but I can't wait to test them out. And I will share my reviews of Rebellion Reward Cards with you in the future.

Normally I prefer to buy Rarity Draws, but since this will be my first time getting Rebellion Reward cards I will try my luck at Loot Chests.

On the first day, I added 14 of the Rebellion Reward cards to my deck and even leveled up some of them. Now I can't wait to use them in battles and level them all up to max in the future. I will do my best to collect more Glint, and I will also be putting in a lot of effort in the coming months to grow my deck and further increase my SPS in staking to increase my rewards from ranked battles. I really liked the Rebellion Reward Cards and I need a lot of Glint tokens to get more of them.

Also, in addition to the Rebellion Reward cards, new abilities have been added to the game and they are all really great abilities that can help my strategy a lot in battles.

Corrupted Healing Ability

  • Corrupted Healing Ability : Each round, restore 70% of max health to other allied units, rounded down. Each time a unit is healed, its max health is reduced by 1.

Execute Ability

  • Execute Ability : If the target has 2 or less health after a successful attack, perform another attack against the same unit.

ability_mimic.png

Mimic Ability

  • Mimic Ability : At the beginning of round 2 and each following round, gain a random ability from the enemy team. 25% chance to gain a random ability from an attacker when hit. Dispel removes one mimicked ability in the reverse order they were gained. Debilitations, Targeting abilities, Ambush, Weapons Training, Flank, Reach, Charge, and Taunt cannot be mimicked.

Wingbreak Ability

  • Wingbreak Ability : Always targets the first Flying enemy unit regardless of abilities or rulesets. +2 damage if the target has Flying.

Weary Ability

  • Weary Ability : At the beginning of round 1, Weary units have a 10% chance to become Exhausted. This chance increases by 10% every round, up to a maximum of 80%. Exhausted units skip their turn and cannot Retaliate.

Electrified Ability

  • Electrified Ability : Deals 1 damage to all allied units at the beginning of round 2 and each following round.

Incendiary Ability

  • Incendiary Ability : At the beginning of round 2 and each following round, applies Burning. Burning has a 33% chance to spread to either adjacent unit at the beginning of each round, then all Burning units lose 2 health. Burning can be cleansed.

They are all really cool abilities and I can't wait to try them out in battles and will share my reviews on all of them in the future. In particular, I think using debilitations that damage or inflict negative status effects to allies instead of enemies would be incredibly fun in battles. The Splinterlands team is truly an amazing team and they have done a great job as always. A huge thank you to the entire team and everyone who worked so hard to make Splinterlands a better game. With new cards and new abilities, the game will become even more fun and the excitement will increase even more. If you haven't joined Splinterlands yet, I think you're missing out. Now we have even more reasons to play Splinterlands, and an exciting new era has begun, let's enjoy it.
