Hello everyone, I hope everything is going well in your life. Welcome to my Battle Mage Secrets post. In this post, I will talk about the Noxious Fumes Ruleset.
In battles with the Noxious Fumes Ruleset, all Monsters start the battle Poisoned, but Monsters with the Immunity Ability are not poisoned. Additionally, Monsters with the Cleanse Ability remove all negative effects on the Unit in the first position on the friendly team. If you include the Cleanse Ability in your lineup, you can prevent the first position monster in your team from being poisoned. Therefore, in battles with the Noxious Fumes ruleset, I highly recommend adding Monsters with the Immunity Ability or a Monster with the Cleanse Ability to your team.
By the way, Monsters that are Cleansed, Resurrected or Rebirthed will not be re-applied with poison. Additionally, Enrage is triggered when Poison is applied.
When a Monster with the Martyr Ability dies, adjacent Units get +1 to all stats. In battles with the Noxious Fumes ruleset, I include the Martyr Ability in my lineup without hesitation if I have the opportunity, and I highly recommend you include it in your lineup as well.
One of my most used cards in the Noxious Fumes ruleset is Quora Towershead, and I put Martyr Abilities adjacent to it, and I'd say it's one of the strategies that works best for me. My Quora Towershead card is level 2 and has the Heal Ability and Bloodlust Ability, making it special in this type of battles. If I can upgrade it to level 3 it gains the Immunity Ability that would be great for my team, but even level 2 Quora Towershead works very well in the Noxious Fumes ruleset.
Finally, I would like to say that they can be more useful when you use them with a good strategy, otherwise they may not be very useful.
I would say that the Noxious Fumes ruleset is one of my favorites because I have a lot of strategy in this ruleset and I can win most of the battles with this ruleset. And in this post I will talk about one of my most interesting battles.
- Aimless: All Monsters have the Scattershot ability.
- Noxious Fumes: All Monsters start the battle Poisoned.
- Heavy Hitters: All Monsters have the Knock Out ability.
According to the rulesets of the battle, all Monsters in this battle will have the Scattershot ability and the Knock Out ability, and All Monsters will start the battle Poisoned.
- Scattershot Ability : Ranged and Magic attacks hit a random enemy target.
- Knock Out Ability : Does double damage when attacking an enemy that is stunned.
Before starting the battle, when I reviewed the opponent player's recent five battles, I saw that they had very powerful cards, but it was very difficult for me to predict the opponent player's strategy in this battle, so I will have to take every possibility into consideration to win the battle.
Since I believe that Quora Towershead will help me a lot in winning this battle, I will add it to my team and determine my strategy accordingly. First of all, my strategy will be to ensure that Quora Towershead survives until the end of the battle and gets +1 to all its stats at least twice. Additionally, I will include the Protect Ability in my lineup as I believe it would be beneficial to give 2 extra armor to all Monsters in my team in this battle.
My three most preferred monsters in battles with the Noxious Fumes ruleset are Venari Marksrat, Quora Towershead and Fungus Flinger, and I will prefer them in this battle as well. This lineup works really well in these types of battles, especially with the Noxious Fumes ruleset.
The continuation of the strategy and my team's lineup is as follows;
Helios Matriarch is a Dragon Summoner that allows the use of one additional Gladiator card in battle, and grants +1 speed to all friendly monsters. I would like to point out that I prefer Helios Matriarch as a summoner so that I could use my Quora Towershead gladiator card and give +1 speed to all monsters in my team.
In the first position, I put Grund with Double Strike Ability. Since Grund has the Double Strike Ability, it attacks twice each round, it is a powerful enough monster that can sometimes upset the opponents' entire strategy early in the battle, so I added it to my team.
- Double Strike Ability : This unit attacks twice each round.
In the second position, I put Venari Marksrat with Martyr Ability. The most important reason I added Venari Marksrat to my team in this battle was because it had the Martyr Ability and I put Venari Marksrat adjacent to Quora Towershead. When it died, Quora Towershead would get +1 to all of its stats. If Grund survives, it will also get +1 to all its stats.
- Martyr Ability : When this Unit dies, adjacent Units get +1 to all stats.
In the third position, I put Quora Towershead with Bloodlust Ability and Heal Ability. Quora Towershead is a really powerful gladiator and I added it to my team because I believe it can help me a lot in winning the battle. Moreover, I put Monsters with the Martyr Ability next to Quora Towershead, which meant that if my strategy works as I want, Quora Towershead will get +1 to all stats 2 times.
- Bloodlust Ability : This Monster revels in the glory of combat and becomes more dangerous as the battle goes on. Every time it defeats an opponent, it gets +1 to all stats.
- Heal Ability : Restores a third of max health to this Unit's health each round.
In the fourth position, I put Fungus Flinger with Martyr Ability and Blind Ability. The reason I added Fungus Flinger to my team for this battle is pretty much the same as Venari Marksrat. Additionally, it has the Blind Ability, which could give my team a great advantage in this battle so I put it in fourth position
- Martyr Ability : When this Unit dies, adjacent Units get +1 to all stats.
- Blind Ability : All enemy Melee & Ranged attacks have a 15% higher chance of missing their target.
In the fifth position, I put Queen Mycelia with Protect Ability and Amplify Ability. The most important reason why I added Queen Mycelia to my team was that it has the Protect Ability, and I believe that having all the monsters in my team with extra +2 armor will give my team a great advantage in this battle. And since it only has 4 health, I put it in the fifth position. In order for my strategy to work better, it is very important for Queen Mycelia to die after Monsters with Martyr Ability.
- Protect Ability : All friendly Units gain +2 Armor.
- Amplify Ability : Increases Magic Reflect, Return Fire, Thorns, Corrosive Ward, and Retaliate damage to all enemy units by 1.
In the last position, I put Regal Peryton with Flying Ability. Since I consider the possibility of Sneak Monsters on the opposing team, I put Regal Peryton in the last position.
- Flying Ability : Has a 25% bonus chance of evading Melee or Ranged attacks from Units who do not have the Flying ability.
You can watch the entire battle from the video or from the Battle Link.
Wow, the opposing team has a level 4 Quora Towershead, which is a really big advantage because it also has the Immunity Ability, which means it won't be affected by poison. However, it was a big mistake for the opponent player to put Quora Towershead in the first position, probably the fact that all monsters have Scattershot Ability may have pushed the opponent player to choose such a strategy. Or the opponent player may have thought that there were no Monsters that could destroy Quora Towershead, but that's exactly why I put Grund in the first position. Also, the fact that the 5 Monsters on the opposing team do not have armor will be a big disadvantage for them, but this will be an important advantage for my team.
Round 1
In the first round, all monsters hit their targets and the opposing team's attacks were much more effective and no monsters could be destroyed in the first round. However, my strategy worked better and the Monsters with Martyr Ability in my team took damage, which means they will die from poison at the beginning of the second round. Frankly, my strategy worked exactly as I wanted in the first round.
Round 2
At the beginning of the second round, both Monsters with the Martyr Ability on my team died, and Grund got +1 to all of its stats, while Quora Towershead got +1 to all of its stats twice. And my team's Quora Towershead destroyed the opposing team's Fungus Flinger, once again getting + to all its stats. And Grund single-handedly destroyed the opposing team's Quora Towershead with brutal attacks.
Round 3
In the third round, Quora Towershead destroyed Goblin Psychic, while Grund destroyed Venari Marksrat and Thane Newsong and my team managed to win the battle.
The battle lasted only 3 rounds, and at the end of the battle, all monsters on the opposing team were destroyed, while 3 monsters on my team managed to survive. To be honest, the opposing team was more powerful, but my strategy worked better and my team won the tough battle quite easily. In a battle, strategy and the lineup of the team are as important as being powerful, or even more important than being powerful, and this battle was a good example of this.
