Hello everyone, Welcome to my Splinterlands Social Media Challenge post. In this post, I will be talking about the new Rebellion reward card Shock Trooper and Electrified Ability, and more, as well as an amazing battle. I hope it will be useful for you.

Shock Trooper is an Epic Water Monster card that has the Electrified Ability from level 1, the Swiftness Ability from level 3, and the Magic Reflect Ability at level 6. It is a very interesting card that only costs 4 mana, especially its Electrified Ability looks very scary, but when used with a good strategy it can be very effective in battles. And in this post I will talk about my experiences with it so far.

  • Electrified Ability : Deals 1 damage to all allied units at the beginning of round 2 and each following round.
  • Swiftness Ability : All friendly Units have their Speed increased by 1.
  • Magic Reflect Ability : When hit with Magic damage, does half the Magic damage (rounded up) back to the attacker.

Rebellion Reward cards were added to the rewards shop on August 15, 2024 and we can now get them from our rewards shop with our Glint. Additionally, those who wish can unbind the rewards cards they own so they can transfer, sell or rent them, and those who wish can buy or rent them on the market. To be honest, since I'm going to play Splinterlands forever, I haven't unbind any of my reward cards and I don't plan on unbinding them, but I do buy them from the market to level up my cards. The Rebellion reward cards are really powerful and I can't wait to add them to my deck and level them all up to max. Along with the addition of Rebellion reward cards to the game, the Shock Trooper was also added to the game.

There is no doubt that being faster and making the first attacks in battles is very useful, so I do not hesitate to include Swiftness Ability to my lineup in battles because it is really useful.

Magic Reflect Ability is very useful against magic attacks because when hit with Magic damage, does half the Magic damage back to the attacker. And when combined with Amplify Ability, it works even better against magic attacks because Amplify Ability increases Magic Reflect damage to all enemy units by 1.

These two abilities are very useful in certain battles and I have talked about them a lot in my previous posts, but in this post I will talk more about the Electrified Ability since it is a new ability.

Electrified Ability deals 1 damage to all allied units at the beginning of round 2 and each following round. It is really scary that all Monsters on the team take 1 damage each round, so at first I was very afraid to include this ability in my lineup, but after realizing the power of the Shock Trooper, I am not afraid of this ability at all anymore, but I pay attention to some points when adding Shock Trooper to my team, the most important of which is that the Monsters on my team must survive in order to destroy the opposing team.

Some points to consider: the damage from Electrified begins at the beginning of round 2 even if Ambush is in play. Nothing protects against Electrified and it cannot be cleansed. However, Monsters can be healed after taking damage from it. Monsters with Electrified Ability also zap themselves, and Electrified will continue to deal 1 damage to all allied units, even if the Monster with Electrified is stunned. And Monsteers with Electrified must be alive to zap the allied team, meaning it will not continue to impact the team after the Monster with Electrified is destroyed.

I use my Shock Trooper card mostly in battles with Back to Basics, Little League, and What Doesn’t Kill You rulesets, although it deals 1 damage to all allied units at the beginning of round 2 and each following round, its attack power is very useful for destroying enemies.

In battles with the Back to Basics ruleset, Units lose all their abilities so the Electrified Ability will not be triggered, so Shock Trooper's 4 magic attacks are very useful to destroy enemies. And considering that it only costs 4 mana, I think it is a great advantage to have this card.

In battles with the Little League ruleset, only units and summoners with a mana cost of 4 or less may be used. Most Monsters with a mana cost of 4 or less are incredibly easy to destroy with 4 magic attacks, so I don't hesitate to include my Shock Trooper card in my team, but when determining my strategy, I make sure that the Monsters on my team can survive for a long time because at least one Monster on my team needs to survive at the end of the battle in order to win the battle. Therefore, when adding the Shock Trooper to my team, I make sure to add Monsters with high health to my team.

In battles with the What Doesn't Kill You ruleset, all Monsters have the Enrage ability which multiplies their speed and melee attack by 1.5x rounded up. And the Electrified Ability works really well to trigger the Enrage ability.

Additionally, when you include Electrified Ability in your lineup, it will be very useful to include healing abilities like Corrupted Healing, Heal, Tank Heal, and Triage in your lineup as these abilities will delay the destruction of certain Monsters. Also, Life Leech and Scavenger abilities can be quite useful.

Below I will talk about a battle that I think will be a good example of the Shock Trooper card and the Electrified Ability, let's examine the battle.

Battle Ruleset

  • Little League : Only Monsters & Summoners that cost 4 Mana or less may be used in battles.
  • Aim True: Attacks always hit their target.

According to the ruleset of the battle, only Monsters and Summoners that cost 4 Mana or less may be used, and attacks always hit their target.

In such battles, many players, including me, put Monsters with high health in the front lines and do not want them to be destroyed early and determine their strategies accordingly, which is exactly why I added the Shock Trooper to my team because my goal was to destroy enemies that would be difficult to destroy early in the battle. The reason I put Shock Trooper in the second position is because I wanted it to be destroyed early if the fight was going to be long because I didn't want the Monsters on my team to be affected by Electrified for a long time.

Battle Comments

Round 1

I wasn't surprised to see Shock Trooper on the opposing team, but I was very surprised that the opposing player preferred Monsters with only 1 health because they would die at the beginning of the second round, and that's what happened.

Round 2

The Electrified Ability was a complete disaster for the opposing team and after Electrified was triggered, 3 Monsters from the opposing team died but all the Monsters on my team were still alive. Round 2 clearly showed what you should pay most attention to when including Electrified Ability into your lineup.

Round 3

After Electrified was triggered in the 3rd round, the battle ended and my team managed to win the battle. And the most interesting thing was that all the Monsters on my team were still alive. As I mentioned above, 4 magic attacks are very useful in destroying enemies in this type of battles, and this battle clearly showed this. Also, I believe it is a good example of the use of the Electrified Ability, so I wanted to share it with you, I hope you enjoyed it. My Shock Trooper card is at level 2 and I can't wait to level it up to max level because it's really useful in certain battles.

If you have any questions about abilities, rulesets, the battle above, and Splinterlands, please feel free to ask and I'll be happy to answer them.

If you haven't joined this fascinating world yet, I think you're missing out and I highly recommend you consider joining Splinterlands.

Good post, you described the same card, which I did today :D
Kinda different use, but still secure a win!

Quite an interesting coincidence, I'll take a look at it in a moment. :D
