Introduction

Hello there! @saydie here, playing Splinterlands everyday!

Only a few days left now before the season ends which also makes the end for the Chaos Legion Soulbound Reward as they will no longer be available on Gwen's Glint Shop. As replacement for them was a new set of soulbound rewards that will be part of Rebellion. Last week, I talk about the new abilities that comes with this new set of reward cards along with debilitations that instead of boosting the capabilities or stats of your own units or debuff the opponent units, it will instead damage and debuff your own units. Now, I will be talking about the new Rebellion Reward cards and analyze their abilities, starting with the common cards.

Common Rebellion Soulbound Rewards

  • Chaos Evoker

Chaos Evoker was a 7- mana magic unit that comes with Blast for its first ability which allows it to inflict damage to the units adjacent to the target. For its second ability, it has Ambush which allows it to attack even before the battle phase starts, giving an early damage to the opponent. And finally, it gains Dodge as its last ability which gives it 25% evasion chance against melee and range attacks. As a magic unit, it was like a modern version of Elemental Phoeneix but with only half the damage. That said, we now have the summoner Lorkus which gives +1 magic damage to all units and can be given the Affliction and Life Leech abilities that allows it to increase its health for each successful attack and prevent the target from healing. It will also benefit to the summoner Conqueror Jacek by having +2 additional speed and Scattershot to randomize its target and spread the blast damage to the opponent.

  • Ujurak Elder

The next card, Ujurak Elder, was another magic unit which only cost 3 mana, making it useable on Little League and can be use by all elements since it was a Neutral unit. It does not have much damage but it does have Camouflage which makes it untargetable by direct attacks unless it was on the first position and it would not received damage when attacked the first time due to Divine Shield. It also has Strengthen and Swiftness which increases the health and speed of all ally units as long as it remains in play. This card would gain additional magic through the use of the summoner Obsidian and Lorkus.

  • Halaran Huntress

Card Type00-melee.png Melee
Abilitiesflying.png Flying
Charge.png Charge

Revealed By@callmetim

Now, I think I found my favorite card so far with Halaran Huntress which is a 4 mana melee unit that also makes it useable on Little League battles. Not only it has a decent amount of health but also pack a lot of damage and has good speed. Not only that, it has Flying which gives it 25% chance to evade melee and range attacks and can use Charge which allows it to attack on any position. Not only that, it also comes with Snare which removes the Flying ability of the target. This card would benefit 2 extra attack if used together with the summoner Underboss Fabino or we can use Akane and apply Ambush so it can attack before the battle starts, gaining a head start in damage. This can also be a really good card to have during Earthquake Ruleset or when Risqruel Drath was in use with its Flying ability while also have the Snare to remove the Flying of the target.

  • Tokatag Conscript

Revealed By@bravetofu

For the last card of this batch, we have Tokatag Conscript which is a 6- mana range unit. It has the Sneak ability which allows it to attack backline units together with Thorns that reflects damage when attacked by a melee unit and Backfire that inflicts damage when a melee or range unit misses an attack to this card. This is a great addition to the many melee units that are used in modern, specially since it was a neutral unit but at the same time can also be an effective anti-sneak unit with Thorns and Backfire so the best place to put this card was on the back. Amongst the modern summoner, it can be paired with Prophet Rosa to either gain +2 additional range damage or give it the Shield ability as a backline tank. It can also work with Cryptic to give it Blind to increase its evasion chance or with Risqruel Drath for additional range attack and Flying ability. It could also work with Grandmaster Rathe by adding Amplify to make its Thorns inflict more damage or with Astral Entity to give it the Dodge ability.

Final Thoughts

And those were some of the Common Rebellion Rewards card. There were a total of 12 common rewards but I have only found 6 so far and 4 of them were those above. Among those 4, there were 2 cards with abilities from Rebellion which is Ambush and Charge and like I said, it was the Halaran Huntress which is so far my favorite among this batch. I also like to express my gratitude to everyone that helps in sharing the information about the cards.

Thank you and see you at the next post.
