My muse has spoken to me
A few months ago one of my fellow Legendary Dragons clan mates introduced me into that whole new world of AI art at Midjourney. Well since then I started being creative here and there and made a few artworks.
What really intrigued me are the endless possibilities of cinematic looking, very realistic portraits of characters indistinguishable from high quality photographs.
Well, this week I made a decision to fully dive & delve into this new kind of creating art to see where it gets me and what my mind is capable of. I'm going to learn it. How to concept. How to outline. How to draw. I'm currently more on the concept and describing side of things - yet.
Creative Process, learning by coincidence - or let the muse shine
I basically played around with midjourney attempting to create stunning cinematic portrait pictures.
Prompt: portrait of water goddes with big chest open blouse athletic body and beautiful neon eyes, background fairytale beach with neutrons illuminated by neon, clear facial features, Cinematic, 35mm lens, f/1.8, accent lighting, global illumination :: vulcanic fire --seed 1892736148 --q 2 --v 4 --s 250 --uplight
Then I let my favourite creation upscale:
My first steps into multiprompting, not so bad at all.
I then found out about the advanced paramentes of midjourney model-versions. With the --niji
command an easy anime-sation is now an option, sweet. So I gave that a try, too.
Prompt: portrait of water goddes with big chest open blouse athletic body and beautiful neon eyes, background fairytale beach with neutrons illuminated by neon, clear facial features, Cinematic, 35mm lens, f/1.8, accent lighting, global illumination :: vulcanic fire --seed 1892736148 --q 2 --niji --uplight
At this point I thought I'm finished with my little experimental journey. But my muse thought differently and softly whispered into my consciousness: "there is more... ssssshhhh... look for kitty... ssshh... combine, let flooowwwww... ssshh"
What a weirdo she can be!
So I continued reading and found out about midjourney blend which explains how to combine pictures. Then I did as she murmurred and blend the anime style fire goddess with this meow creature:

... and some applied magic happend. Prompt: https://s.mj.run/30BiWWV-XDg https://s.mj.run/26rYnY4E_xs --q 2 --v 4 --s 250 --uplight
Boom.
The 4th creation touched me, so I upscaled it:
I added some cosmetics to finish this inception of madness:
So far so good, now what to do with this develishious lunatic gaze of hers? Lunacy oozes out of her, deeply from all pores. Every. Single. One. Gosh this ambivalence, mesmerizing!
I thought, well lets give her something useful to channel these deep emotion and created an epic fire splinter card plus two new abilities!
ChrisDeBurgh: High on Emotion
The more health - meaning heart - the more emotions, which in the case of our little lunatic here means: getting their butts kicked. Gradual damage increase according to the health points of the enemy monsters.
Bipolar Envy
Her bipolar soul jealousy leads to a second damage multiplier on top.
When she meets green Earth monsters, it's firewood to her! Betty rushes in with so much Damage that she one-shots almost everything.
When she meets blue Water monsters, however, her vengeful fire art fails tremendously and she only does very little Damage.
When she hits all other Splinter monsters, she has her normal ChrisDeBurgh Damage.
I depicted it with more details in this little spread sheet:
And here she is: BIPOLAR BETTY

Whats your opinion & impression?
What about a little lore?
(I heard she once was deeply in love with a divine creature of the Crystal Lagoon Bay but then faith hit hard on her.A snake-like spirit of the Black Wolf Forest was out to assassinate her. Thus her heart froze. That almost killed the young lady - almost, well technically it did for a few minutes. But then she woke up as a new person with a new purpose of life: fierce vengeance... in here eyes)
