We have three rulesets in effect: Lost Legendaries, Heavy Hitters and Maneuvers:
RULESET: Lost Legendaries
Description:
Legendary units may not be used.
Legendary summoners are still available.
The Strategy
For the Lost Legendaries ruleset my go to team is water! This team is full of great non-legendary monsters such as Diemonshark as a tank, Coastal Sentry that is usable here because we also have Maneuvers ruleset in effect and monsters in second position gain reach ability. Deeplurker and Pelacor Bandit as a sneak. Our backline is protected by Noa the Just.
The idea here is to have a double strategy: We have focused major damage on the front from Coastal Sentry and Diemonshark and we have strong sneak attack from Pelacor Bandit and Uraeus supplemented by an opportunity monster Deeplurker.
The backline is protected by a new soul bound monster Noa the Just.
The Summoner
Kelya Frendul is one of my favorite summoners as it let's me use the water team where you find lot's of great non-legendary monsters for the Lost Legendaries ruleset and she adds one speed and one shield to all friendly monsters.
1st Slot - Tank Monster
Diemonshark is one of the best non-legendary tanks in the water team. It comes with a base speed of four, four melee damage, six shield, and ten health points. It also has important abilities: Trample, Enrage and retaliate.
2nd Slot - Major Melee Damage Dealing Monster
Coastal Sentry is a common card from the Soulbound rewards set. This rewards card is a great choice in the rulesets where monsters gain reach ability or when using it with Possibilius legendary summoner that gives all monsters reach ability. It comes with a base health of seven, five melee damage and five speed with three shield and most importantly has double strike ability that brings here damage to ten on every turn. She also has piercing and knockout abilities
3rd Slot - Poison Opportunity Monster
Deeplurker is a great common monster, it comes with opportunity, poison and demoralize abilities as well as great stats: five melee damage, four speed and seven health and all of this for only six mana. I think this should have been at least a rare monster.
4th Slot - Sneak Poison Monster
Uraeus is a neutral monster from the Chaos Legion Reward set. This epic monster provides has three melee damage, one shield, four health, four speed and sneak and opportunity abilities. This is a great monster to use in almost any mana even here where we have 39 mana available.
5th Slot - Fast Sneak Monster
Pelacor Bandit is another great reward monster from the Chaos Legion set. It has a very high speed of six and high melee damage of four for the monster that takes up only three mana.
6th Slot - Rear Protection Monster
Noa The Just is a reward monster from the soulbound set. This monster is great as a rear guard. It is fast and has Dodge ability that makes him hard to hit and when monsters miss they get backfire due to his Backfire ability. It also has a martyr ability that would buff the Pelacor Bandit making Bandit almost impossible to hit and even more deadly.
THE BATTLE
Our opponent chose a very strong Rebellion card as their tank: Grimbardun Smith! Also their team is headed by a legendary promo summoner and they also chose Water as their main element.
In the first round we landed poison on one of their monsters while they were lucky to land poison on two of our monsters. Not the greatest start for our team...
In the second round we took out their taunt monster and they took out our sneak poison monster.
Round three was the decisive round for our team. We took out their Grimbardun Smith and their sneak monster that was killed with backfire!
And in round four we win!
More than 16 SPS tokens is our reward for this win in addition to 982 Glint points.
