Introduction
It's Monday and as usual I will be sharing my battle mage secrets. This week the featured ruleset is Stampede which allows trample units to keep on attacking provided they kill a unit so one card could wipe out the whole enemy team.
My Strategy & Tips for Stampede
In the stampede ruleset, it's ideal to utilize trample units if it fits in the comp. Personally for me, if water isn't available I just won't really focus too much on this ruleset. If water element is up, then there's plays with Kelya + Diemonshark or Possiblius + Arkemis the bear + Coastal Sentry. There's also another card that can fit in any comp at max level for this ruleset and it's Venka. Venka can most likely one shot and trample an entire team in certain situations with stampede. I've never played with Venka but it has happened to me before. The guy played Venka and tramples down my whole team in one round.
The Battle
The battle link can be found here. This battle was from a brawl on my scholar account. The brawl is gold foil gold wild league. Honestly, I find it quite easy to win here since not many people own gold foil cards or are willing to buy/rent them for brawls. It's a low mana battle of 24 with stampede are you not entertained and armored up as the ruleset. Only the fire, earth and dragon element was available.
Discussing My Lineup
Summoner , Immortalis - Immortalis is my go to spam. It's good with the shatter since there's armored up.
First Position, Fungus Finger - I chose Fungus Finger to be my fodder. It's main purpose was to trigger martyr and buff my Quora.
Second Position, Quora Towershead - Quora was my key card to carry the battle. I placed it between two martyr cards and it's main purpose was to keep killing and getting the bloodlust with the extra stats from martyr
Third Position, Venari Marksrat - Venari Marksrat was another cannon fodder. It's purpose was to further buff my Quora.
Last Position, Acid Shooter - Acid Shooter was mainly to fill the mana cap. It came useful as well to cover the backline from sneak as well as getting a chance to cripple the enemy team.
Analysis of The Battle
It was an easy win for me. The double martyr strategy is super good with quora in low mana battlea. My opponent didn't have the damage to take down my quora. They also went for a double martyr strategy but with the focus on Katrelba Gobson. My Quroa just 1v5 this battle! You can see that it's not always necessary to use trample in a stampede ruleset.
