Introduction

About two days ago, Splniterlands dropped a very interesting announcement about the new promo event called Hall Of Legends. During this promo event, promo cards will be offered every two weeks with a two week break in between each promo sale. These cards are apparently going to be super "OP" so it could be something to look forward to buying. There is not set supply either so the supply will be based on whoever buys.

In addition to that, there won't be any more voucher discounts so there will be a voucher shop to buy an exclusive card from the shop. Today, I will be covering my thoughts on these three new cards that have been shared.

Elanor Bravefoot

Elanor is a 0 mana neutral with weary, strengthen and a new ability. Elanor is an interesting promo coming with the new ability of Blasphemy of Uul which "Permanently gain +1 ranged power for each allied 0 mana card from the Chaos Legion set." I'm confused why it's tied to the chaos legion set as we also have some other 0 mana cards like chicken so I wonder if it will work with that. This card can be very strong going up to 4 range damage for 0 mana. You can literally have a 2 mana team with a summoner from alpha and beta and 2 0 mana fiends with this card. I honestly don't think this card will be that OP but it will definitely come in handy with the strengthen and I expect it to be used in an equalizer ruleset.

Sanctus Vicar

Sanctus Vicar is a dual element fire and water ranged unit. This will be an interesting card in noxious fume rulesets because it can cleanse both the front and backline. I think this card will be meta and the blast shield is interesting as well because jacek was already a top contender in explosive weaponry.

Mana Warden

Finally, there is Mana Warden which will be available in the voucher shop. It's coming with a new ability called shield ward which will give the unit infront of it shield. That's going to be crazy because I can see this working with cards like Arkemis the bear, forgotten one Jared Scar. I think this card will shine in melee mayhem or the opportunity ruleset. This card could also be strong in little league since it's only 4 mana. I feel this card is too strong so who knows it might get a nerf!
