Intro New Exclusive Voucher Shop Card
Just a few days ago, Mana Warden got rotated out for this new sexy legendary called Ulfga The Blighted. As of writing this, there's about 79 days to get your hands on this card. Before getting this card though, it should be good to know whether it is worth it or not so today, I will be covering this card and giving my opinion on whether it is worth it or not!
Ulfga The Blighted
Let's look at Ulfga The Blighted. The art is pretty fire. I love how it lost both of it's hands which makes sense why it can't be weapons trained! Something to note is that it can still gain abilities if I'm not mistaken. There are two cards right now that can give shield or phase to Ulfga. I think these cards could complement Ulfga really well to make it a better frontline. I could see this card being used in a rebirth ruleset with cards like adelade brightwing and oshur to give it another two revives. This card could proc the poison blast potentially 4x with this combo. I like how they made this card 4 mana because it has great stats to be a frontline to tank and die for little league ruleset. I also like how it has slow in the early levels. The weaken ability for me is meh but the rebirth is really strong. It's unfortunate they adjusted it to have it only at max level for the rebirth.
Verdict
It's about $21 USD per bcx based on the voucher price as of writing this post. To get a max level, it will cost over $200 dollars. Honestly, I don't think getting this at max level is worth it but this depends on what's your goal in Splinterlands. If you want to collect, have the strongest possible collection and you have the money, by all means go for it. For those that don't have such a high budget, I think level 2 is good enough. You can save this card for a rebirth ruleset since it would let you get the poison blast off twice.
Personally, I will not be buying this card. I don't feel like it's a must have card so I will be sitting out of this sale. I may change my mind if I do see it used in battles a lot.
