Hello all #Splinterlands friends,
This is my entry for the Battle Mage Secrets weekly challenge.
This week's theme is the Odd Ones Out, so I want to share a recent Brawl battle with this ruleset.
The battle ruleset
- 42 mana cap - a medium mana battle
- Ruleset - What Doesn't Kill You, Maneuvers, Odd Ones Out
- Splinter - Only Water and Earth Splinter can be used in this battle
With What Doesn't Kill You and Maneuvers, I prefer to use melee monsters with high HP in the frontline to utilize the benefits. Finally, I decided to use Earth Splinter in this battle
My team lineup
Summoner | Obsidian - to give +1 magic attack to all my magic monsters | |
---|---|---|
1st position | Terraceous Hulk - I chose it because of Taunt and Void Armor ability. With these abilities, it can survive longer on the battlefield and protect the backline monsters. | |
2nd position | Palidon Rakk - he has high HP and he can attack from this position with Maneuvers ruleset. I think he's the most suitable monster in this position. I also hope he can kill some monsters and get stronger with Bloodlust ability | |
3rd position | Regal Peryton - a high speed magic monster attack. It can make some early attacks to get an advantage | |
4th position | Sandworm - high melee attack monster with Sneak ability to clean up the enemy backline monsters. | |
5th position | Spirit Hoarder - I chose it because I want to use its Dispel ability, to remove the buff from enemy monster. | |
6th position | Djinn Biljka - it can hide on the battlefield with Camouflage ability and freely deal the attack until the end of the battle |

- My enemy also chose Earth Splinter in this battle with Lobb Lowland as the summoner. Choosing Lobb Lowland cost more mana but my enemy only chose 1 Gladiator, so I had an advantage in using mana. My enemy team lineup is quite similar to me. It also has Terraceous Hulk as the tanker, Palidon Rakk in the 2nd position, and Sandworm. My enemy chose Satha Toledo to heal the tankers and it's a threat to me.
- In round 1, all the monsters focus on attacking Terraceous Hulk because of the Taunt ability. At the end of round 1, both Terraceous Hulk were eliminated from the battle
- From round 2, my team started having more advantage than the enemy team because my team had 3 high magic attack monsters. Satha Toledo could heal the tankers but it was not enough to keep them surviving longer.
- Finally, I won the battle in the round 4.
That's all for now.
I hope you enjoy this battle and have nice weekend!
