This is my entry for the Splinterlands Community Engagement Challenge this week 🌟
I would like to share a recent battle with Thanalorian Blade in this post. I hope you can find some tips to make the best use of him
The battle ruleset
- 52 mana cap - a high mana cap battle
- Ruleset - Equalizer, Aim True and Equal Opportunity
- Splinter - Only Fire and Water can not be used in this battle
My team lineup
In this battle, the tankers will be attacked first because of Equal Opportunity. It's tricky because all monsters have equal HP with Equalizer. I want to use the high melee attack monsters to utilize the best of these rulesets.

| 4th position |  | Disintegrator - to reduce 1 melee attack from all enemy monsters |
| 5th position |  | Drybone Raider - a strong one and he can attack 4 times each round with 2 types of attack and Double Strike skill |
| 6th position |  | Tatiana Blayde - also a powerful with 2 types of attack |
The battle

- My opponent also chose Earth Splinter in this battle, most of them are melee attack monsters.
- My strategy is to reduce 1 melee attack from all enemy monsters with Disintegrator. Then the damage to Mycelic Infantry reduces by half with Shield and to be reduced 1 more point with Lookout skill from Thanalorian Blade
This team lineup is strong against melee or ranged monsters but not so strong against magic ones.
Let's make some calculations here. The opponent Mycelic Infantry has 4 melee attacks, and it is reduced to 3 melee attacks by Disintegrator. Then the attack is reduced by half, round down with Shield ability, so it only can deal 1 damage to my Mycelic Infantry. However, with the Lookout skill from Thanalorian Blade, my Mycelic Infantry will not take any damage. - In short, only Mycelic Slipspawn can harm my Mycelic Infantry, other ones can not do any damage to him.
- In the end, I win the battle without losing any monsters.
