Hello all Splinters,
I'm here to share my Splinterlands diary.
This is also my entry for the Splinterlands Weekly Challenge 👍
2025 goes very fast and we're already in the middle of February. This season is also short with 14 days instead of 15 days at normal.
As a result, I played fewer battles than the previous seasons. However, I still was able to reach Diamond III.

1. My deck overview

• My Glint strategy didn't change. I spent most of them purchasing Major Chest, which still worked well. I got 3 Legendary cards in 3 consecutive seasons and could not ask for more.
  

• 5 monsters were leveled up this season. Among them, I like Dragon Egg Forager the most because he has 3 melee attacks at level 5, with the Opportunity and Scavenger skills. He is useful in a lot of cases.
  

• Following PeakMonster, my deck value was approaching ~$900, which was increased ~$80 compared to the last report. If I exclude the soulbound, it's only $227. It's a big gap and shows how much your cards were devalued if you keep them for a long time.
  

2. SPS earning

• I earned ~530 SPS this season. As said above, I played fewer battles but mainly in Gold I and Diamond III, so that gave me more SPS for each winning battle.
  

3. Rental DEC earning

• My DEC earnings have seen a slight increase, mainly because the minimum rental price was set at 1 DEC since last week. Fortunately, I secured several cards at low prices for extended rental periods, so my costs haven't risen yet. However, they will likely go up next season.
  
• I want to mention one more point about DEC. With the new set releases in Apr this year, I expect DEC price will increase because players will need DEC to purchase the packs. So I regularly swap all my liquid SPS to DEC now. Hope I stack enough DEC to purchase some packs and get the good cards from them

4. My targets in 2025

• I stay in the Modern format.
• I expect there will be more changes in 2025 and I'm humbled to set the target ~400SPS/season and reach 36K of staked SPS in my account by the end of 2025. Progress - 16.9% ✅
• Join the Guild brawl regularly.
• Increasing my DEC contribution to the Guild to upgrade the Store to level 6 to buy the Blood Stone.
• Use Glint to buy Merits. I want to buy at least 200 Gladiator packs in 2025. I bought 13 Gladius cases this season. I got 37 Gladius cases in total. Progress - 18.5% ✅
