Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - My strategy in a high-mana battle using Light Splinter

Hello all #Splinterlands friends,

I would like to share with you one of my best strategies for a high-mana battle with Light Splinter in this post.

This is also my entry to Social Media Challenge this week.

Team lineup

When I say a high-mana battle, I mean the mana cap equals or above 47.
I would like to share immediately the team lineup without the ruleset because this combination can be used in several ways.

SummonerFranz Ruffmane - I choose him because I want to use Gladiator in my battle
1st positionDrybone Barbarian - he has high health and high attack with Enrage and Retaliate. He is always my best Light tanker.
2nd positionMarisol Contuma - high attack, high speed and Reach ability that makes him able to attack from 2nd position. If the mana cap is 47, I will choose Captain Katie instead
3rd positionDjinn Renova - I chose her to heal my last position monster with Triage skill.
4th positionSpirit Hoarder - another monster with Triage ability. It also has Dispel skill that can remove all positive effects from enemy monsters
5th positionVenari Crystalsmith - I already have 2 Triage monsters and I need 1 monster with Tank Heal skill to heal my tankers.
6th positionIziar - she has very high HP with Taunt and Void ability. That makes her very useful when against the magic monsters. She continuously gets healed by Triage 2 times each round, it makes her hard to be killed.

The battles

1st battle

The ruleset is *** Standard *** with 55 mana cap.

  • My opponent chose Light Splinter and mainly used magic monsters in this battle. Most of its monsters are at max level. It's a very strong team.
  • However, Iziar took all magic/melee attacks but she was still alive after 5 rounds. My team won without losing any monsters on the battle

2nd battle

This is also a battle with 55 mana cap. But the rulesets are more complicated with Close Range, Unprotected and Holy Protection

  • My opponent chose Dragon Splinter. It was also a very strong team with 5 Legendary monsters out of 6. Agor Longtail is powerful with 2 types of attacks and he could be revived 2 times in the battle. My opponent wanted to utilize the benefit of Holy Protection after each revival. Lucky for me, there is no armor at all with Unprotection ruleset. Otherwise, Agor Longtail was hard to be killed with his Void Armor ability and the Repair from the angel Adelade Brightwing
  • In this battle, Iziar got more damage because there were 2 ranged monsters in this battle. And she was killed in round 4. But she was the only monster eliminated from the battlefield. I still got 5 alive monsters and won the battle after 6 rounds.

3rd battle

This is also a battle with 52 mana cap. The rulesets are Born Again and Target Practice

  • My opponent chose Water Splinter. It used 4 Legendary monsters in this battle. The strategy is to let Baakjira be the target with Target Practice. But it would be healed 2 times each round with his Heal skill and Triage from ***Daarg Deadblast****
  • It was a long battle because both sides had a lot of healing skills with the amplify of Born Again ruleset. It took 16 rounds and my team again won the battle without losing any monster.

That's all for now.
I hope you enjoy these battles and have a nice weekend!
