Hello everyone, in this post I will talk about the Tenyii Striker card and how it is an excellent choice not only to deal damage but also as a form of defense.
Many may already know this card because you can play with it without having to rent or buy it in Splinterlands but only at level 1, it belongs to the fire deck and is a rare card from the chaos legion edition, I will leave the main information about it below.
Tenyii Striker is the type of card that already has very strong stats as you can see at level 1 it has 2 attack, 2 speed and 6 health if you combine it with a summoner that increases melee attack like Tarsa or the Malric Inferno he will be even more amazing because a level 1 card with that mana cost that has 3 attack is really very strong. But at higher levels he is even better as you can see at level 8 which is his maximum level he has 5 attack, 4 speed and 7 health, not many cards have as much attack as he does so it is an excellent choice when you want to deal a lot of damage in battle.
Its stats alone make Tenyii Striker a great card but it doesn't just have that because this card still has 3 abilities that are a great combination for it.
I mentioned before in the card information the abilities, they are: Sneak, Dodge and Back fire. Now I will explain better how each one works.
The first is the Sneak ability that Tenyii Striker has since level 1, it makes this card attack the opponent's card that is positioned in the last position so it's a great ability to defeat the opponent's back row cards instead to attack the first position card that is usually the hardest to defeat. There is an exception to this ability, which is when a card has the Taunt ability that makes it the target of all attacks, so the card with the Sneak ability will attack that card and not the one in the last position.
The second is the Dodge ability which makes the card increase its chances of dodging melee and ranged attacks by 25%. This will be of great help to Tenyii Striker because he doesn't have a lot of health and he doesn't have a shield either so having this ability to increase your chances of dodging will be very useful and despite being 25% it makes the card dodge a lot of attacks but it has a weakness which is against magic attacks that have a 100% chance to hit the target.
The third is the Backfire ability which makes the card do 2 damage to the card that missed the attack, so if a card attacks Tenyii Striker and it misses, it will take 2 damage and this is very useful since Tenyii Striker too It has the Dodge ability that increases the chances of dodging attacks, so in addition to having a very high attack it still has another way to deal damage which is with the backfire ability.
For those who have played with this card, you know how amazing it is in battles and I must admit that it is one of my favorites in the fire deck. But to have it at higher levels you need to buy or rent it so let's find out how much this amazing card is currently costing.
VALUE
Its current price at the time this post is being published is $0.55 and I consider it a low price for a card with an incredible utility and visuals but this is due to the fact that the chaos legion packs are still being sold in the splinterlands shop and this greatly limits the value of the cards currently, so when the packs run out cards like Tenyii Striker and many others that are amazing in battle will have their prices much higher than these.
In the weekly chart that Peakmonster makes available, it shows 1186 cards were sold this week alone and that is a lot of cards and also shows a slight downward trend but this is common because the chaos legion edition cards have very volatile prices so the ideal thinking in the short term is to plot an average price of this card and buy it when it is below it because it will probably go up in value again as it has happened countless times in the last few weeks, for the long term the current price is not very relevant because if you believe in the potential of this card for when the packs are done selling then her price will probably be higher than what you're paying now, but it's always good to buy when it's cheap to maximize your earnings.
Remembering that every investment has its risks and this is not an investment tip, just my opinion about the card and its financial potential for the future.

LORE
A dozen generations sandwiched between the hammer of the Khans' cruelty and the anvil of the icy foothills of Kurguzd forged the Tenyii into reclusive deadly foes. Brought to the training creche from birth, taught to steal for food, beaten when caught and trained daily with the sword and spear as soon as they were strong enough for their hands to lift steel, the Tenyii clan were hard as iron and as fierce and silent as midnight on the mountain glacier.
When the Legion's heralds demanded a sacrifice of flesh and gold to open the rifts to the ways beyond, the Khan sent five hundred waadin berserkers to bring the tribe to heel. When a single horse returned bearing a sack of fifty skulls, the Khan threatened to burn the entire mountain to the ground. A dozen Tenyii Strikers were sent as tribute to spare the tribes and to satisfy the herald's call.
“Of my brood year I alone survived the agoge. Through my offering I took the oath and was bound by blood to serve at my masters side. When the Khan's men came they slew my master and took my sisters as slaves but those that survived swore that night they would not reach the valley road.
By twelve moonlit blades was our honor restored. By twelve blades were fifty heads taken, the rest thrown into the midden crevasse, the skulls returned as a sign. Losing one hand he offers the other, threatening us with fire. As a gift we offer those same twelve blades of which I am one.
We sail the void and cross the rift, biding our time and feigning service but there will be a reckoning. We shall have his head and the heads of all those who dared stir us from our mountain home.”
